Desgastes na madeira de uma cadeira de balanço formou uma imagem que chamou a atenção de muita gente: o rosto de Jesus, tal como se vê nas concepções artísticas usuais.
Wear in a wooden rocking chair formed a picture that caught the attention of many people: the face of Jesus, as seen in the usual artistic conceptions.
O fato aconteceu em uma casa de Los Angeles (Califórnia - Estados Unidos) e o dono do imóvel, Lou Balducci (segundo a grande imprensa), ficou muito espantado, pois jamais imaginou uma cena deste tipo debaixo de seu teto, e disse: “Não tenho religião, mas, quando vi a imagem, fiquei confuso, talvez seja um sinal, e ao mostrar para a nossa empregada e ela disse que a casa estava abençoada”.
It happened in a house in Los Angeles (California - USA) and the owner of the property, Lou Balducci (according to mainstream media), was very surprised, because I never imagined such a scene under his roof, and said, "No I have religion, but when I saw the picture, I was confused, perhaps a sign, and show our maid and she said the house was blessed”.
Para alguns religiosos a imagem formada na madeira pode mesmo ser um sinal divino, mas os céticos dirão certamente que a cadeira de balanço está precisa de uma boa reforma.
For some religious image formed in the wood can even be a divine sign, but skeptics say for sure that the rocker is need of a good reform.

A matéria foi publicada em 01 de outubro de 1977 no jornal PAINEL da região centro-fluminense, com o titulo acima: foi descoberto um nó proeminente (natural) no tronco de uma árvore e o formato era do rosto de Cristo, o que gerou romarias ao local e o pé da árvore virou um altar, um centro de adoração, com direito a velas, preces, pedidos de bênçãos...
The story was published in 01 October, 1977, in the newspaper PAINEL of the region central-fluminense, with the title above: It was discovered a prominent node (natural) in the trunk of a tree. The format was the face of Christ, which led pilgrimages to the site and the foot of the tree became an altar, a worship center, complete with candles, prayers, requests for blessings...
Na época +Dom Moysés era o Redator-Chefe do jornal e, pessoalmente, foi ao local para fotografar e fazer a reportagem.
At the time +Don Moyses was Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper and I personally went to the site to photograph and make a report.
