ACORDO ESTABELECE: ESTUDO DE HEBRAICO (BRASIL) E PORTUGUÊS (ISRAEL)
AGREEMENT SETS: STUDY OF HEBREW (BRAZIL) AND PORTUGUESE (ISRAEL)
Foi divulgado no Diário Oficial da União, no início deste ano, de 2012 (12 de Janeiro) um decreto assinado pela Presidente Dilma Rousseff que estabelece um acordo entre os governos do Brasil e de Israel voltado para a área da educação.
It was published in the Official Gazette, earlier this year, 2012 (January, 12) a decree signed by President Dilma Rousseff establishing an agreement between the governments of Brazil and Israel returned to the area of education.
O acordo prevê o ensino do Hebraico no Brasil e da Língua Portuguesa em Israel, além de pesquisas relacionadas ao Holocausto e a inclusão desse tema nos currículos escolares: a decisão também inclui o conteúdo sobre o Antissemitismo (sistema político-social oposto aos semitas e, particularmente, aos judeus), a intolerância, o racismo e a xenofobia (aversão a estrangeiros) nos livros didáticos abortando as consequências negativas sobre os temas; além de programas de intercâmbios entre estudantes, professores e pesquisadores dos dois países por meio de bolsas de estudos.
The agreement provides for the teaching of Hebrew in Brazil and the Portuguese language in Israel, as well as research relating to the Holocaust and the inclusion of this subject in school curricula, the decision also includes content on Anti-Semitism (social-political system opposed to the Semites, and particularly to the Jews), intolerance, racism and xenophobia (dislike of foreigners) in textbooks aborting the negative consequence son the issues, in addition to exchange programs between students, teachers and researchers of both countries through scholarships.
Apesar de ter sido firmado em 2012, o acordo foi proposto em 2008 e aprovado no Congresso em 2010, mas somente agora a Presidente assinou o Decreto celebrando o contrato entre os dois governos.
Although it was signed in 2012 the agreement was proposed in 2008 and approved by Congress in 2010, but only now the President signed the Decree celebrating the contract between the two governments.
