A Missionária da Junta de Missões Mundiais, Rosângela Gamba, está exultante e muitos são os motivos para isso: no dia 11 de dezembro de 2011, em Huambo (Angola – país africano onde ela se encontra), realizou-se um culto marcando a abertura do Ministério com Surdos, n a congregação de São Bartolomeu, ocasião em que desceram às águas 22 novos irmãos.

Participaram dezoito jovens de seis Igrejas de Huambo e doze surdos, os quais, durante algum tempo, pasaram pela aprendizagem da Lingua Gestual Angolana para que pudessem compreender a mensagem.

No Rio Kulimahãla, que fica a uns três quilômetros da congregação, foram realizados o batismo de 22 irmãos, entre eles dois surdos, que fizeram subir para onze o quantitativo de surdos batizados.

Neste ministério com surdos há a indispensável participação do Missionário da terra, Francisco Cassinda e da intérprete de sinais Avelina Manguelewa.
