O CORAL MUNICIPAL DE PETRÓPOLIS foi merecidamente agraciado com o importante PRÊMIO QUALIDADE BRASIL-2011, sem dúvida alguma o resultado do investimento nos 35 anos de serviços prestados à arte através da música coral.
The CHOIR OF THE CITY PETRÓPOLIS was deservedly awarded the important BRAZILQUALITY AWARD-2011, undoubtedly the result of investment in 35 years of service to the arts through choral music.
Vale enfatizar que se trata do primeiro grupo coral a receber esta distinção que tem com o principal objetivo divulgar os destaques empresariais no território brasileiro.

O Coral Municipal de Petrópolis, que completa 35 anos em 2011, foi fundado em 1976 pelo Maestro Ernani Aguiar, e foi regido durante onze anos pelo maestro Gilberto Bittencourt: na atualidade quem responde pelo Coral é o Maestro Paulo Afonso Filho, que também coordena os 30 cantores que fazem parte do grupo.
The Municipal Choir of Petropolis, which completes 35 years in 2011, was founded in 1976by Maestro Ernani Aguiar, and was governed for eleven years by the conductor Gilberto Bittencourt, who is responsible for today's Choir Maestro Paulo Afonso Filho, who also coordinates the 30 singers who are part of the group.
