PRESIDENTE DILMA ROUSSEFF (BRASIL) RECEBEU INSÍGNIA DE GRÃ-MESTRA DA ORDEM DO MÉRITO DA DEFESA
PRESIDENT DILMA ROUSSEFF (BRAZIL) RECEIVES INSIGNIA OF GRAND-MASTER OF THE ORDER OF MERIT OF THE DEFENSE
No dia 05/04/2011, a Presidente da República, Dilma Rousseff, recebeu do Ministério da Defesa, em Brasilia, a insígnia de Grã-Mestra da Ordem do Mérito da Defesa: a Ordem é conferida aos militares das Forças Armadas, aos civis nacionais e aos militares e civis estrangeiros que tenham prestado relevantes serviços às Forças Armadas do Brasil.
On 05/04/2011, the President of the Republic, Dilma Rousseff received from the Ministry of Defense, in Brasilia, the insignia of Grand-Master of the Order of Merit of Defense: the Order is given to armed forces personnel, civilians domestic and foreign military and civilians who have rendered outstanding services to the Armed Forces of Brazil.
Na ocasião, a Presidente Dilma também foi agraciada com outras três medalhas: a Ordem do Mérito Militar, concedida pelo Exército Brasileiro; a Ordem do Mérito Naval, da Marinha; e a Ordem do Mérito Aeronáutico, da Força Aérea Brasileira.
On occasion, the President Dilma was also honored with three other medals: the Order of Military Merit, awarded by the Brazilian Army, the Naval Order of Merit, Navy, and the Order of Aeronautical Merit, Brazilian Air Force.
Ao ser empossada como Presidente da República, Dilma automaticamente recebeu a Grã-Cruz, o mais elevado grau das condecorações de todas as Ordens.
Upon being sworn in as President of Republic, Dilma automatically received the Grand Cross, the highest level of awards of all orders.
