DEPUTY AND PASTOR MARCO FELICIANO WANTS COMPULSORY EDUCATION IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS
O Deputado Federal e Pastor Marco Feliciano, apresentou no dia 09/02/11, o projeto de Lei n° 309/2011, instituindo o ensino religioso obrigatório nas escolas públicas, sendo que deputado foca a sua atuação numa campanha que pretende atingir todas as pessoas que se preocupam com a formação básica da primeira infância e dá o nome a ela de “Papai do Céu na Escola”.

Sem desrespeitar os demais segmentos religiosos, o deputado diz ter cuidado para não fazer proselitismo religioso: citando o texto bíblico do livro de Provérbios 22:6, Feliciano defende a importância do ensino religioso nas escolas, justificando-se conhecer a existência de matéria nos currículos escolares, porém agora, tornando matéria obrigatória nos Currículos Escolares do Ensino Fundamental, circunstância de que o ensino religioso é a base histórica dos princípios morais e éticos da sociedade.
