Millene, pós graduada em Gestão Ambiental, é docente concursada da rede de ensino público da Prefeitura de Paraiba do Sul (RJ), sendo que na atualidade leciona Ciências na localidade de Inconfidência (mais conhecida como Sebolas), um histórico distrito daquela cidade, pois lá se situa o Museu de Tiradentes.
Millene, masters degree in Environmental Management, is a teacher contest public schools of the Municipality of Paraiba do Sul (RJ), and currently teaches science at the location of Conspiracy (aka Sebolas), a historical district of the city, because there lies the Museum of Tiradentes.
No dia 18 de março de 2011, ela, acompanhada da também Professora Marina, sua colega de trabalho e que leciona Geografia, levaram seus alunos à Fazenda Projeto Água, que fica em Anápolis, distrito de Petrópolis (RJ), para aulas práticas (basicamente palestras) onde tiveram a oportunidade, também, de participarem de plantio de árvores.

FARM WATER PROJECT
Localizada no município de Petrópolis – RJ, inserida na Serra do Mar e contribuinte da Bacia do Rio Paraíba do Sul, com uma área de 210.000m2 e 32 nascentes de águas catalogadas, a Fazenda Projeto Água é o principal instrumento de efetivação da ONG.
Located in the city of Petropolis - RJ, inserted in the Serra do Mar and contributor to the basin of the Paraíba do Sul, with an area of 32 210.000m2 water sources and cataloged, the Farm Water Project is the main instrument of realization of the NGO.
Com áreas destinadas a atividades educativas de preservação ao meio-ambiente, lazer, apoio e treinamento de voluntários a Fazenda procura ser um modelo de lugar onde seus visitantes consigam interagir com os recursos naturais, sem degradá-los.

PROGRAMA DE REFLORESTAMENTO
PROGRAM OF REFORESTATION
Consiste em levar crianças, jovens e adultos para plantarem mudas de árvores nativas da Mata Atlântica, já que a educação ambiental tem sido grande aliada ao processo de mudanças comportamentais, uso e valoração dos recursos naturais. O desenvolvimento da árvore ao longo do tempo pode ser acompanhado pelos participantes do programa, no local de plantio.
Program consists of leading children, youth and adults to plant native trees of the Atlantic, because environmental education has been a great ally to the process of behavior change, use and valuation of natural resources. The development of the tree over time may be accompanied by program participants, at the planting site.

Criado para conscientizar crianças, jovens e adultos através de palestras, dinâmicas e discussões em grupo sobre a importância e necessidade de se preservar os recursos hídricos.

WATER FOR ALL PROGRAMME
Objetiva divulgar informações e instruir a sociedade sobre a importância e a necessidade de preservar os recursos hídricos. Dentre as ações realizadas estão: participação em feiras, distribuição de material informativo, site na internet.
Aims to disseminate information and educate society about the importance and necessity of preserving water resources. Among the actions undertaken are: participation in trade fairs, distributing information material, web site.
PROGRAMA RECICLAR/REUTILIZAR
PROGRAM RECYCLE / REUSE
Tem como principal objetivo sensibilizar a comunidade para o processo de coleta seletiva de resíduos sólidos e diminuir o desperdício, identificando e valorizando as possibilidades de reutilização como meio de preservação ambiental. No conteúdo programático inclui palestras e oficinas que incentivam uma produção consciente do lixo, através dos três R (Reduzir, Reutilizar e Reciclar).
Its main objective is to sensitize the community to the process of selective collection of solid waste and reduce waste by identifying and highlighting the potential for reuse as a means of preserving the environment. In syllabus includes lectures and workshops that encourage a conscious production of waste through the three R's (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle).
