Mediante indicação da deputada Maria Panisset, a ASSEMBLÉIA LEGISLATIVA DO ESTADO DO RIO DE JANEIRO, concedeu o honroso título de Cidadão Benemérito do Estado do Rio de Janeiro ao consagrado Pastor Dr. Vanderlei Batista Marins, Presidente da Primeira Igreja Batista de Alcântara, e que pertence à Convenção Batista Brasileira.
Upon indication of Mr. Maria Panisset the LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF RIO DE JANEIRO, granted the honorary title of Meritorious Citizen of Rio de Janeiro to the consecrated Pastor Dr. Vanderlei Batista Marins, President of the First Baptist Church of Alcântara, and that belongs to Brazilian Baptist Convention.
A Resolução Legislativa foi publicada no dia 08 de setembro de 2004, após a apresentação, pela autora da proposta, ao plenário Barbosa Lima Sobrinho, de suas razões, valendo notar que a proponente é destacada educadora brasileira.

VANDERLEI BATISTA MARINS, nascido no Município de São João da Barra, casado com Rita de Cassia Silva Miranda Marins, Bacharel em Teologia e acadêmico de Direito, sendo em 24 de janeiro de 1987 consagrado pastor, vindo, desde então a pastorear a Terceira Igreja Batista em São Fidelis, a Primeira Igreja Batista em Cabo Frio e, atualmente, a Primeira Igreja Batista em Alcântara.
VANDERLEI MARINS BATISTA, born in São João da Barra, married to Rita de Cassia Silva Miranda Marins, Bachelor of Theology and scholar of law, being on 24 January 1987 devoted pastor, come, since the pastorate of the Third Baptist Church in St. Fidelis, First Baptist Church in Cabo Frio, and currently the First Baptist Church in Alcantara.
Dentre os cargos denominacionais ocupados pelo Pastor Vanderlei podemos relacionar o de Presidente da Junta Educacional da Convenção Batista Fluminense, Diretor do Colégio Batista Fluminense e o de Presidente da Ordem dos Pastores Batistas do Brasil, por cinco mandatos.
Among the positions occupied by the church pastor Vanderlei can relate to the President of the Board of Education Baptist Convention Fluminense, Director of the Baptist College of Fluminense and President of the Association of Baptist Pastors of Brazil, for five terms.
O Pastor Vanderlei, também é professor do Seminário Teológico Batista Gonçalense e na Igreja a parte social se destaca na concessão de serviços com o atendimento pisicológico e fonoaudiológico, além da doação de alimentos, remédios e roupas para a população carente do Município de São Gonçalo.
Pastor Vanderlei, also teacher at the Baptist Theological Seminary and São Gonçalo Church in the party stands on social services with the provision of care and speech therapy Psychology, in addition to donating food, medicine and clothing to the needy population of the municipality of Sao Goncalo.
Tal como o Pastor Dr. Vanderlei, o Pastor Dr. Moysés Barbosa e membro da Convenção Batista Brasileira, e assim se alegra ao divulgar esta matéria, e especialmente por ser um admirador deste grande servo de Deus, a quem teve o prazer de entregar há algum tempo uma titulação honorífica expedida pelo Seminário Teológico Centro-Fluminense (SETECEF) do qual é o Magnífico Reitor, tendo sido na época cumprimentado por incontável número de obreiros de todo o país, que manifestaram-se felizes com a concessão, qualificada de “distinção merecida e um ato de sensibilidade e justiça”.
As Dr. Vanderlei Pastor, Pastor Dr. Moyses Barbosa and member of the Brazilian Baptist Convention, and so rejoiced to disclose this matter, and especially being an admirer of this great servant of God, who had the pleasure of delivering ago while a honorary title issued by the Theological Seminary Central Fluminense (SETECEF) which is the Magnificent Rector, at the time was greeted by countless workers across the country who expressed themselves happy with the award, described as a “distinction deserved and an act of fairness and sensitivity”.

Recentemente o Pastor Dr. Vanderlei foi distinguido com uma importante e enobrecedora titulação, qual seja, PERSONALIDADE EVANGÉLICA DO ESTADO DO RIO - 2010, expedida por este Ministério, conforme se vê abaixo, valendo ressaltar que obreiros dos cinco continentes foram homenageados, nas Américas: do Sul (Uruguay), Central(Haiti) e do Norte (Estados Unidos); na Europa (Inglaterra) e na África (Benim), faltando ainda as indicações dos obreiros a serem distinguidos na Ásia e na Oceania, o que ocorrerá até dezembro de 2010.
Recently Pastor Dr. Vanderlei was awarded an important and ennobling titration, namely PERSONALITY OF THE GOSPEL OF STATE RIO - 2010, issued by this Ministry, as shown below, is worth highlighting that workers were honored in five continents, the Americas: South (Uruguay), Central (Haiti) and North (United States), Europe (England) and Africa (Benin), lacking the information to be distinguished from workers in Asia and Oceania, which will take place until December 2010.
