O Patriarca Ecumênico de Constantinopla, da Igreja Ortodoxa Grega de Buenos Aires, Bartolomeu I, encerrou doa 20/07/06, no Brasil, o simpósio internacional de uma semana sobre Religião, Ciência e Meio Ambiente: “Vou sempre rezar para um mundo melhor, mais brilhante e mais verde”, afirmou o religioso.
The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, Greek Orthodox Church in Buenos Aires, Bartholomew I, donates ended 07/20/2006, in Brazil, the one-week international symposium on Religion, Science and Environment: “I will always pray for a better world, brighter and greener”, said the religioner.
No encerramento do conclave foram registradas presenças do Índio Benke Ashaninka, do Cientista Philip Weller, do Governador do Amazonas Eduardo Braga, do Secretário estadual de meio ambiente Virgílio Viana e da Secretária de Coordenação da Amazônia, Muriel Saragoussi.
