12º Congresso das Nações Unidas sobre Prevenção ao Crime e Justiça Criminal realizado no Brasil (Salvador) e encerrado dia 19/04/10 firmou um acordo de cooperação jurídica internacional no que tange ao contrabando de migrantes, tráfico de seres humanos e também de outros pontos de elevada importância.
12th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice held in Brazil (Salvador) days ended 19/04/10 and signed an agreement on international legal cooperation in relation to migrant smuggling, trafficking in human beings and also from other points high importance.
O Diretor Executivo do Escritório das Nações Unidas Contra Drogas e Crime, (UNODC), Antonio Maria Costa (foto), disse durante o Congresso que é preciso esforço para a promoção da cultura da justiça no mundo, tendo o Brasil sido elogiado pela ONU quanto à sua postura.
The Executive Director of UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Antonio Maria Costa (pictured), said during the Congress that it takes effort to promote a culture of justice in the world, with Brazil being praised by the UN as its posture.
O Responsável pela organização do evento em Salvador, foi o Secretário Nacional de Justiça do Brasil, Romeu Tuma Júnior.
