BREAKING THE SILENCE: FIGHTING FORMS OF VIOLENCE
No dia 24 de agosto de 2013, adventistas de Três Rios (templo da Av. Castro Alves) realizaram concentração na Praça da Autonomia, para o evento QUEBRANDO O SILÊNCIO, oportunidade aberta e com a participação dos desbravadores, para abordar diversas formas de violência contra a pessoa: exploração de crianças, violência no lar, abusos contra os idosos e portadores de necessidades especiais e também o Bullyng.
On August 24, 2013, Adventist Three Rivers (Temple of Avenida Castro Alves) held at the Plaza concentration of Autonomy for the event BREAKING THE SILENCE, open opportunity and with the participation of the pioneers, to address different forms of violence against the person: child exploitation, domestic violence, abuse of the elderly and people with special needs and also Bullyng.
Foi um momento bem adequado ao tema “Quebrando o Silêncio”, pois todos os presentes foram conscientizados a não se calarem diante de quaisquer abusos, no lar, na escola ou mesmo na s via públicas.
It was a moment well suited to the theme "Breaking the Silence", as all present were aware not to be silent in the face of any abuse in the home, at school or even on public roads.

A praça da Autonomia abriga este coreto histórico, um dos símbolos da emancipação de Três Rios em 1938: grandes eventos têm sido realizados nesta praça.
