A Organização Brasileira dos Veteranos das Nações Unidas e Estados Americanos (OBVNUEA) é uma Organização de nível internacional voltada para o veteranismo cívico-militar, cujos fundamentos cultuam a memória, as tradições, os valores éticos e morais dos veteranos das operações de paz que, em algum tempo, prestaram os nobres serviços em prol do bem-estar da humanidade, por intermédio da ONU.
The Brazilian Veterans Organization of American States and United Nations (OBVNUEA) is an international organization dedicated to veteranismo civic-military, whose foundations worship the memory, traditions, moral and ethical values of the veterans of peacekeeping operations that at some time, have rendered noble service for the well-being of mankind, through the UN.
Os fundamentos da OBVNUEA estão ligados aos preceitos de prevalência dos direitos humanos, autodeterminação dos povos, à defesa da paz, à solução pacífica dos conflitos e à cooperação para o progresso da humanidade: estes fundamentos são listados na Constituição brasileira e confirmados por cinco décadas de envio de tropas brasileiras para cumprirem missões de paz.
The fundamentals of OBVNUEA are connected to the precepts of prevalence of human rights, self-determination, to defend peace, peaceful resolution of conflicts and cooperation for the progress of humanity: these fundamentals are listed in the Brazilian Constitution and supported by five decades of sending troops to meet Brazilian peacekeeping missions.
Criada em 24 de outubro de 1995 e fundada em 24 de outubro de 2004, vem realizando eventos educativos e comemorando datas de relevante interesse da humanidade, sob a égide e orientação das Nações Unidas.
Created on 24 October 1995 and founded on October 24, 2004, has been conducting educational events and dates commemorating relevant interest of humanity, under the auspices and guidance of the United Nations.
Congrega atuais e antigos integrantes das Forças de Paz da ONU e OEA, das quais o Brasil participou ou participa efetivamente.
