MAN DOWN THE MOON: 40 YEARS IN 2009!
No dia 20 de julho de 2009 foram comemorados os quarenta anos da descida do homem na lua: foi no dia 20 de julho de 1969 que o astronauta americano Neil Armstrong esteve em solo lunar, juntamente com uma equipe em uma missão chamada Apollo XI, ficando assim para a história da humanidade como o primeiro homem a pisar na lua e a frase célebre de Neil Armstrong que marcou este feito foi Esse é um pequeno passo para o homem, mas um grande salto para a humanidade.
On July 20, 2009 were celebrated forty years of the descent of man on the moon: it was on July 20, 1969 that the American astronaut Neil Armstrong was in lunar soil, along with a team on a mission called Apollo XI, getting so for the history of humanity as the first man to walk on the moon and Neil Armstrong famously marking this achievement was "that's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
No dia 20 de julho de 1999, quando eram comemorados os trinta anos, várias instituições, entre elas o Conselho de Ministros Evangélicos do Município de Três Rios, que realizou sessão solene, e algumas personalidades foram distinguidas, dentro da Semana da Pátria que se aproximava, com homenagens, para marcar a data, e o Pastor Moysés Barbosa recebeu a MEDALHA DO MÉRITO COMUNITÁRIO APOLLO XI.
On July 20, 1999, when it was celebrated thirty years, several institutions, including the Council of Evangelical Ministers of City of Tres Rios, who held a solemn session, and some personalities were distinguished within the Homeland Week approaching, with honors, to mark the date, and Pastor Moyses Barbosa received the MEDAL OF MERIT COMMUNITY APOLLO XI.
O Conselho afirma textualmente no diploma de outorga: o tão importante feito científico-tecnológico marcou a abertura, para todas as nações, de largos e bem definidos caminhos para as conquistas espaciais e incessantes buscas por benefícios para toda a humanidade.
The Council says verbatim in diploma granting "the very important scientific achievement and technological marked the opening for all nations, large and well-defined paths to the achievements and unceasing search for space benefits for all mankind."
