GERMAN COLONY HONORED +DON MOYSÉS FOR HIS WORK IN FAVOR OF HARMONY AMONG PEOPLE
O Clube 29 de Junho, de Petrópolis, que teve origem na comunidade alemã daquela cidade, foi instalado oficialmente n dia 29 de junho de 1959, no salão da Câmara Municipal, com a presença de membros da colônia germânica, autoridades e numeroso público.

O nome 29 de junho é uma alusão a uma data marcante, ou seja, 29 de junho de 1845, quando chegaram os primeiros grupos de alemães ao solo petropolitano, procedentes da Europa no pós-guerra.

Em 19 de outubro de 1976, +Dom Moysés recebeu deste importante marco da colônia alemã no Brasil, o titulo de sócio-correspondente, que já nos primeiros passos de seu ministério evangélico como evangelista e, também, como jornalista, já lutava pela harmoniosa convivência entre os povos, fato que chamou a atenção do jornalista e historiador Hugo Kling (de saudosa memória), um dos descendentes dos colonizadores alemães, que propôs a outorga.
