Presidente Lula e o presidente do Irã, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, no Palácio do Itamaraty, em Brasília, durante visita em 23/11/09, quando participou de almoço oferecido pelo governante brasileiro.
President Lula and President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, at the Itamaraty Palace in Brasilia during a visit on 23/11/09, when he attended a luncheon offered by Brazilian minister.
Em 50 anos, esta foi a primeira missão oficial de um chefe de estado iraniano ao país. Reuniu-se com o Presidente Lula, para tratar de assuntos de uma agenda oficial previamente estabelecida, com temas de interesse dos dois países, como parcerias para atividades em setores de cultura, tecnologia, energia, mercado financeiro e agricultura, entre outras ações.
In 50 years, this was the first official duty of an Iranian head of state in the country. He met with President Lula, to address issues of an official agenda previously established, with topics of interest to both countries, and partnerships activities in sectors of culture, technology, energy, financial markets and agriculture, among others.
