O Pastor Dr. Moysés Barbosa proferiu o sermão ocasional em 10 de Junho de 2012 Dia do Pastor na Catedral da Sétima Igreja Batista de Três Rios, onde é o Vice-Presidente: no púlpito, ladeando-o, os pastores Filipe (seu lado direito) e David Mesquita, Presidente da Igreja.

Ele falou sobre quatro, dentre os princípios que são essenciais na postura pastoral: PROVISÃO (não deixar nada faltar aos irmãos, especialmente em termos espirituais), CONDUÇÃO (visitando, ouvindo, orientando etc), INTEGRIDADE (entrar pela porta da frente, isto é, cordialidade, cortesia, união, diálogo franco, aberto etc) e AMOR (não medir sacrificio, disposição de atuar a qualquer hora, entrega etc).
He talked about four, among the principles that are essential in pastoral posture: PROVISION (leave nothing lacking to the brothers, especially in spiritual terms), DRIVING (visiting, listening, guiding, etc.), INTEGRITY (enter through the front door, that is, politeness, courtesy, marriage, frank, open etc) and LOVE (do not measure sacrifice, willingness to act at any time, delivery etc).
Finalizou dizendo que os obreiros que não atentam para estes princípios, não apascentando as ovelhas e deixando que elas fiquem desgarradas (Jeremias 23:1) e que apascentam a si mesmos (Ezequiel 34:2) ficam sujeitos ao castigo de Deus.
He finished by saying that workers do not pay attention to these principles, not tending the sheep and letting them become disjoint (Jeremiah 23:1) and feed themselves (Ezekiel 34:2) shall be subject to punishment from God.
