Cidade das Letras, projeto da Secretaria Estadual de Educação do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, para promover o acesso ao livro nas cidades de Dourados, Campo Grande e Três Lagoas. O movimento cultural é feito por meio de feira do livro, debates, oficinas, filmes, exposições e shows.
City of the Arts, a project of the State Department of Education of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul, to promote access to books in the cities of Golden, Campo Grande and Pondicherry. The cultural movement is done through the book fair, debates, workshops, films, exhibitions and concerts.
Em sua primeira edição, o “Caminhos da Leitura” deverá percorrer 30 cidades de todo o Brasil num período de um ano. Ao todo, o projeto pretende atingir 500 mil brasileiros, que terão acesso a cerca de um milhão de livros e a mais de cinco mil horas de programação cultural.
In its first edition, the "Ways of Reading" will travel 30 cities throughout Brazil over a period of one year. Altogether, the project aims to reach 500 thousand Brazilians who have access to about a million books and over five thousand hours of cultural programming.
O evento acontece de 21 a 24 de junho, no Armazém Cultural, antiga Estação Ferroviária. Escritores de 28 cidades deverão participar da feira, que terá como público alvo professores, alunos e diretores de escolas públicas e particulares da Capital. Caravanas de estudantes foram programadas para visitarem o local, que vai oferecer uma série de atrações culturais como palestras, dinâmicas, oficinas de pintura, entre outras atividades.
The event takes place 21-24 June at the Warehouse Cultural old Railway Station. Writers in 28 cities will participate in the fair, which will target teachers, students and directors of public and private schools in the capital. Caravans of students were scheduled to visit the site, which will offer a range of cultural attractions such as lectures, dynamic, painting workshops, among other activities.
