No Brasil, sede do Ministério Evangélico Internacional Valorizando a Vida!, liderado por +Dom Moysés Barbosa, Dilma Roussef é a primeira mulher a ocupar a Presidência da República, nos 510 anos de história do país sul-americano, e será empossada dia primeiro de janeiro de 2011. O Brasil foi descoberto pelos portugueses no dia 22 de abril de 1500.

Afirmou textualmente o Presidente, em fala que foi divulgada também pela página do Palácio do Planalto na internet:

“É importante a gente nunca esquecer que nós ficamos 380 anos praticando escravidão neste país. O Brasil foi o último país do mundo a abolir a escravidão. Acho que nós temos uma dívida enorme com o continente africano, com o povo africano. É uma dívida que a gente nunca vai poder pagar em dinheiro. A gente vai poder pagar em solidariedade, em ajuda humanitária, em ajuda ao desenvolvimento, em ajuda no conhecimento científico e tecnológico que o Brasil tem a ajudar o povo da África. Assim como o Brasil, todos aqueles que conseguiram crescer colocando em prática a política, eu diria, intolerável da escravidão”.

Autoridades da TUNÍSIA revelaram que empresários de grupo tunisiano que produz cabos elétricos para automóveis (chicotes), decidiu que vai instalar uma fábrica no Brasil, mais exatamente em Curitiba, capital do estado do Paraná, na região sul do país.

No dia 10 de novembro DE 2007, o Comandante do Navio-Escola “Brasil” (NE Brasil), realizando a XXI viagem de instrução, recebeu a bordo a Embaixadora do Brasil na República da Tunísia, Srª Marília Sardenberg Zelner Gonçalves. À noite, a diplomata participou de coquetel protocolar oferecido pelo navio.

O Ministro das Relações Exteriores do Brasil, Embaixador Celso Amorim (foto), iniciou em 17/02/05 visita oficial a vários países árabes, entre os quais a TUNÍSIA e Argélia. A viagem, que se estendeu até o dia 26/02/05 serviu para dar continuidade ao trato de alguns temas bilaterais e, também, à preparação da Cúpula de Chefes de Estado e de Governo da América do Sul e dos Países Árabes, programado para Brasília (Brasil) nos dias 10 e 11/05/05.

Brasil e Tunísia estão estabelecendo um acordo de cooperação turística que aumenta o fluxo de turistas entre os dois países. Isto deve ocorrer entre o final deste ano de 2009 e o início de 2010, conforme anuncia a Agência de Notícias Brasil-Árabe.

Falando de intercâmbio comercial, os produtos mais vendidos pelo Brasil para a Tunísia são açúcar, trigo, óleo de soja e laminados de ferro e aço. Já os itens muito importados pelo Brasil do país árabe são superfosfato, fluoretos de alumínio e outros ácidos fosfóricos.

A Tunísia é um país da África do Norte, independente desde 1956. Quase 40% da superfície do território tunisiano são ocupados pelo deserto do Saara, mas o restante é constituído de terras férteis. O país é dividido em provincias e estas subdivididas em distritos. O clima da Tunísia encontra-se sujeito a influências mediterrânicas e saarianas. O clima mediterrâneo predomina no norte e caracteriza-se por invernos amenos e verões quentes e secos. As temperaturas variam em função da latitude, altitude ou proximidade em relação ao Mar Mediterrâneo. As temperaturas médias são de 12°C em Dezembro e 30°C em Julho.
Tunisia is a country in North Africa, independent since 1956. Almost 40% of land area is occupied by the Tunisian Sahara, but the rest is fertile land. The country is divided into provinces and these subdivided into districts. The climate of Tunisia is subject to the Saharan and Mediterranean influences. The Mediterranean climate prevails in the north and is characterized by mild winters and hot dry summers. Temperatures vary according to latitude, altitude or proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. Average temperatures are 12° C in December and 30 ° C in July.
