A Suécia vem acessando regularmente esta página e trouxe-nos à memória que neste país o Brasil conquistou seu primeiro campeonato mundial de futebol. Foi em 1958 e +Dom Moysés era ainda um adolescente. A Suécia e este acontecimento lhe vieram à lembrança com muito vigor em 2008, quando foi condecorado pela TV com a medalha que comemorou o Jubileu de Ouro da conquista desta “World Cup”.
Sweden has been regularly visiting this page and bring us to the memory in this country, Brazil won its first soccer world championship. It was in 1958 and +Dom Moyses was still a teenager. Daniel Westling, Duque de Västergötland e a Princesa Victoria, herdeira do trono da Suécia, se casaram no dia 19 de junho de 2010, na Catedral de São Nicolau, em Estocolmo, sendo este matrimônio descrito como "o maior real casamento da Europa desde que o Príncipe de Gales (Reino Unido), se casou com Lady Diana Spencer em 1981”.
Daniel Westling, Duke of Västergötland and Princess Victoria, heir to the throne of Sweden, married on June 19, 2010, at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Stockholm, which is described marriage as "the greatest real marriage in Europe since the Prince of Wales (United Kingdom) , married Lady Diana Spencer in 1981”.

De 24 a 27 de agosto de 2010, a Suécia vai hospedar a 22ª Conferência Mundial Pentecostal. O evento acontecerá na histórica Igreja Filadélfia de Estocolmo que, em 1955, sediou a primeira Conferência Mundial Pentecostal realizada naquele país. A ênfase da Conferência será a liderança na igreja local sob o tema “Aperfeiçoe a si mesmo, os outros e a igreja” com base em Efésios 4.12,13.

O Presidente da Petrobras, José Sergio Gabrielli de Azevedo (foto), recebeu dia 12/04/10 uma comitiva com 12 Embaixadores da União Européia, na sede da Petrobras. Durante o encontro foram apresentadas as operações da Companhia e os investimentos previstos para os próximos anos.

Os principais temas abordados foram biocombustíveis, política de conteúdo nacional, capacitação de mão-de-obra e flexibilidade para atender a demanda do gás natural.

O Rei da Suécia, Carl XVI Gustaf, disse em discurso no Itamaraty que está ansioso por uma possível cooperação com o Brasil na área de aeronáutica. O Rei comentou ainda sobre a cooperação entre Brasil e Suécia em políticas de desenvolvimento sustentável.
The King of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf said in a speech at the Foreign Ministry who is eager for a possible cooperation with Brazil in the field of aeronautics. King also commented on the cooperation between Brazil and Sweden in sustainable development policies.
Ele ressaltou que seu país é o maior importador de etanol brasileiro. “Espero vivenciar uma cooperação ainda maior nessa área, incluindo ônibus suecos impulsionados por biodiesel em cidades como São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, São Bernardo do Campo e Belo Horizonte”, afirmou.
He stressed that his country is the largest importer of Brazilian ethanol. “I hope to experience an even greater cooperation in this area, including buses powered by biodiesel in Swedish cities like Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Bernardo do Campo and Belo Horizonte”, he said.

O Ministro Carl Bildt visitou o Brasil na primeira quinzena de fevereiro de 2010, juntamente com o secretário de estado Gunnar Wieslander, para negociações bilaterais com o chanceler brasileiro, Celso Amorim sobre a cooperação estratégica entre Brasil e SUÉCIA e sobre desenvolvimento na região, incluindo a assistência ao Haiti, onde o Brasil desempenha um papel central nas operações das Nações Unidas.
Minister Carl Bildt visited Brazil in the first half of February 2010, together with the secretary of state Gunnar Wieslander to bilateral talks with Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorim on strategic cooperation between Brazil and Sweden and on development in the region, including assistance to Haiti, where Brazil plays a central role in UN operations.
Durante a visita, a delegação sueca também se reuniu com representantes de empresas suecas, na Câmara de Comércio Sueco-Brasileira em São Paulo.
During the visit, the Swedish delegation also met with representatives of Swedish companies, the Chamber of Commerce Swedish-Brazilian in Sao Paulo.
