A África é um dos continentes com muitos acessos aos conteúdos do Ministério. Alegram-nos as visitas que nos chegam do Congo, este grande país africano, pelo qual o Brasil tem muita admiração, eis que seu povo teve expressiva participação na formação populacional brasileira, o que persiste até os dias atuais. Às vezes é chamado de “Congo-Brazzaville” para ser distinguido do Congo ex-Zaire, cuja capital é Kinshasa.

Africa is a continent with many of access to the contents of the Ministry. They rejoice in the requests coming from the Congo, this great African country, for which Brazil has great admiration, behold, there was significant participation in training Brazilian population, which persists to this day. It is sometimes called the “Congo-Brazzaville” to be distinguished from the Congo ex-Zaire, whose capital is Kinshasa.

É um país que faz fronteira com Camarões e a Republica Centro-Africana pelo norte. Ao sul e a este com a República Democrática do Congo, que era o antigo Zaire. A ocidente com Gabão e no sudoeste com Cabinda, o pequeno exclave de Angola. Este país destaca-se por ter uma das maiores selvas de toda a África, a selva de Mayombe, e portanto, as paisagens que se podem contemplar em Brazzaville são únicas e espectaculares, podendo ser contemplada uma vegetação incrível, com árvores gigantescas e variedades de cores indescritíveis.

It is a country that borders Cameroon and Central African Republic from the north. To the south and east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, who was the former Zaire. Gabon to the west and southwest of Cabinda, a small exclave of Angola. This country stands out for having one of the largest forests in all of Africa, the forest of Mayombe, and therefore, the landscapes that can contemplate in Brazzaville are unique and beautiful, can be lodged in an incredible vegetation, with giant trees and varieties of color elusive.

Em seu programa de rádio “CAFÉ COM O PRESIDENTE”, do dia 27/07/2010, o Presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (foto), do Brasil, disse que há uma dívida do Brasil com a África que nunca vai poder ser paga em dinheiro. Afirmou textualmente o Presidente, em fala que foi divulgada também pela página do Palácio do Planalto na internet:

On his radio program “BREAKFAST WITH THE PRESIDENT”, the day 27/07/2010 The President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (photo), of Brazil, said there was a debt of Brazil and Africa that will never be paid in cash. Literally said the president, in speech that was also released by the page from the Presidential Palace on the Internet:

“É importante a gente nunca esquecer que nós ficamos 380 anos praticando escravidão neste país. O Brasil foi o último país do mundo a abolir a escravidão. Acho que nós temos uma dívida enorme com o continente africano, com o povo africano. É uma dívida que a gente nunca vai poder pagar em dinheiro. A gente vai poder pagar em solidariedade, em ajuda humanitária, em ajuda ao desenvolvimento, em ajuda no conhecimento científico e tecnológico que o Brasil tem a ajudar o povo da África. Assim como o Brasil, todos aqueles que conseguiram crescer colocando em prática a política, eu diria, intolerável da escravidão”.

“It's important we never forget that we were 380 years practicing slavery in this country. Brazil was the last country to abolish slavery. I think we have a huge debt to the African continent with the African people. It is a debt we will never be able to pay in cash. We will be able to pay in solidarity in humanitarian assistance in development aid, aid in the scientific and technological knowledge that Brazil has to help the people of Africa. Like Brazil, those who managed to grow by putting into practice the policy, I would say, intolerable slavery”.

O Presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, do Brasil, disse em outubro de 2007, que a REPÚBLICA DO CONGO está “ensinando a construir uma democracia cada vez mais forte e na paz”.

President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva of Brazil, said in October 2007 that the Republic of Congo are “teaching to build an ever stronger democracy and peace”.

O governante brasileiro fez a afirmação durante um discurso no Palácio Presidencial da capital do país, Brazaville, ao lado de Denis Sassou-Nguesso, o Presidente congolês, durante visita oficial que fez a países africanos.

The Brazilian President made the statement during a speech at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Brazzaville, along with Denis Sassou-Nguesso, the Congolese president, during an official visit he made to African countries.

Mediante ato do Presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, de 11/10/07,  e dentro de sua disposição de instalar representações diplomáticas no maior número de países, foi criada a Embaixada do Brasil na REPÚBLICA DO CONGO, com sede em Brazzaville, capital do país.

By an act of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, 11.10.2007, and within its willingness to install diplomatic representations in many countries, was established the Embassy of Brazil in Congo Republic, based in Brazzaville, capital of country.

Para tanto foi efetiva a participação do Presidente congolês, Denis Sassou-Nguesso, que sempre procura valorizar e intensificar as relações entre o Congo e o Brasil, nos mais diferentes aspectos.

Was effective for both the participation of Congolese President Denis Sassou-Nguesso, who always strives to value and strengthen relations between the Congo and Brazil, in many different ways.
