De qualquer forma, Dilma Rousseff, que acaba de se eleger (56,05%), agradece aos brasileiros que votaram na Nova Zelândia e nos demais países, pois independente da preferência de cada um, sem dúvida todos deram valiosa colaboração ao processo democrático de seu país.

São muitas obras óleo sobre tela e desenhos com paisagens do país localizado ao Sudoeste do Oceano Pacífico: vinícolas, praias, famílias tradicionais, lago com banhistas, pedestres anônimos.

Técnicos da Confederação de Agricultura e Pecuária do Brasil se reuniram dia 24/07/06, com o vice-ministro da Agricultura e Floresta da NOVA ZELÂNDIA, Murray Sherwin.
Technicians of the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil met days 24/07/2006, with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of New Zealand, Murray Sherwin.
Entre os principais assuntos discutidos no encontro estavam as perspectivas da agricultura brasileira, hoje em dia e para os próximos cinco a dez anos, as oportunidades para cooperação entre a Nova Zelândia e o Brasil na área da agricultura, através de investimento, tecnologia e pesquisa, e os desdobramentos das negociações internacionais, principalmente no âmbito da Organização Mundial do Comércio.
Among the main issues discussed at the meeting were the prospects of Brazilian agriculture today and for the next five to ten years, the opportunities for cooperation between New Zealand and Brazil in the area of agriculture, through investment, technology and research, and the consequences of international negotiations, particularly within the World Trade Organization.
Sherwin esteve acompanhado da embaixadora da Nova Zelândia no Brasil, Alisson Mann. Representado a Confederação de Agricultura e Pecuária do Brasil na reunião, o chefe do Departamento de Comércio Exterior, Antonio Donizetti Beraldo e o assessor técnico Marcelo Costa Martins.
