No Brasil, sede do Ministério Evangélico Internacional Valorizando a Vida!, liderado por +Dom Moysés Barbosa, Dilma Roussef é a primeira mulher a ocupar a Presidência da República, nos 510 anos de história do país sul-americano, e será empossada dia primeiro de janeiro de 2011. O Brasil foi descoberto pelos portugueses no dia 22 de abril de 1500.

Afirmou textualmente o Presidente, em fala que foi divulgada também pela página do Palácio do Planalto na internet:
On his radio program “BREAKFAST WITH THE PRESIDENT”, the day 27/07/2010 The President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (photo), of Brazil, said there was a debt of Brazil and Africa that will never be paid in cash. Literally said the president, in speech that was also released by the page from the Presidential Palace on the Internet:
“É importante a gente nunca esquecer que nós ficamos 380 anos praticando escravidão neste país. O Brasil foi o último país do mundo a abolir a escravidão. Acho que nós temos uma dívida enorme com o continente africano, com o povo africano. É uma dívida que a gente nunca vai poder pagar em dinheiro. A gente vai poder pagar em solidariedade, em ajuda humanitária, em ajuda ao desenvolvimento, em ajuda no conhecimento científico e tecnológico que o Brasil tem a ajudar o povo da África. Assim como o Brasil, todos aqueles que conseguiram crescer colocando em prática a política, eu diria, intolerável da escravidão”.

O Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento do Brasil ajudará a Libéria a reestruturar a agricultura daquele país, que sofreu profundos danos nas últimas décadas. O ministro Wagner Rossi recebeu, dia 07/04/10, a ministra liberiana de Agricultura, Florence Chenoweth, que manifestou interesse em cooperação nas áreas de produção agrícola, processamento de carnes, maquinário, pesquisa e irrigação. “Vamos reforçar o compromisso assumido pelo presidente da República de firmar parcerias e ajudar, no que for preciso, os países irmãos da África”, destacou o ministro brasileiro.

Memorandum of Understanding between Brazil and Liberia: Establishment of Joint Commission
Durante a visita da Presidente liberiana ao Brasil, em 07/04/10, estes países decidiram: estabelecer uma Comissão Mista de Cooperação Brasil-Libéria com objetivo de fortalecer a cooperação entre ambos em matéria econômica, comercial, financeira, técnica, científica, tecnológica e cultural.
During the visit of Liberian President in Brazil, on 07/04/10, these countries agreed to: establish a Joint Commission of Cooperation Brazil-Liberia with the aim of strengthening their cooperation in the economic, commercial, financial, technical, scientific, technological and cultural.
A Comissão Mista reunir-se-á a cada três anos, ou em periodicidade a ser estabelecida de comum acordo entre as partes. As reuniões serão realizadas alternadamente em Monróvia e Brasília (respectivamente, capitais da Libéria e do Brasil). Vigência indeterminada com informações à imprensa após cada encontro.
The Joint Commission will meet every three years, or at intervals to be determined by agreement between the parties. The meetings will be held alternately in Monrovia and Brasilia (respectively, capital of Liberia and Brazil). For an indefinite period with the press releases after each meeting.
