Estamos registrando uma grande quantidade de visitas de jordanianos, as quais se intensificaram nos últimos meses, depois do incremento das relações Brasil-Jordânia, com o Presidente do Brasil visitando este país do Médio Oriente. Sua Majestade REI DA JORDÂNIA, ABDULLAH II, esteve no Brasil.
We are registering a lot of visits to Jordan, which have intensified in recent months, after the increment of the Brazil-Jordan, Brazil's President visiting this country in the Middle East. His Majesty King of Jordan, Abdullah II, visited Brazil.

Sabemos que mais de duzentos mil brasileiros votam no exterior (entretanto no primeiro turno nem todos se cadastraram), entretanto não dispomos no momento de quantos estão na Jordânia, bem como dados precisos sobre a votação nas eleições presidenciais no Brasil.

As informações da região nos falam de outros lugares, entre os quais a Palestina, onde dos 455 eleitores brasileiros nela radicados e que compareceram às urnas, a grande maioria (341) deu preferência à Dilma Rousseff no primeiro turno.

In the first public pronouncement, immediately upon official release of his victory, President-elect Dilma Rousseff thanked the Brazilian people, and said it will defend the constitution and democracy, and will emphasize assistance to the poor, freedom of press and religious expression, peace social, human rights, stressing that he will fight for women to be more valued in the labor market, and it also has preached respect for the opposition.

Em homenagem ao Dia da Independência da Jordânia, que ocorreu no dia 25 de maio de 1946, a exposição conta com 35 ampliações da viagem realizada pelo fotógrafo ao país árabe em 2008, enquanto cobria um clássico rally de carros na região.
In honor of Independence Day of Jordan, which occurred on May 25, 1946, the exhibition has 35 extensions of the journey undertaken by the photographer to the Arab country in 2008, while covering a rally of classic cars in the region.
Terras áridas, com poucos recursos, mas repletas de paisagens muito bonitas e de pessoas receptivas, são alguns dos enfoques de Marcos Pacheco, assim como os costumes e temas cotidianos.

O Brasil quer apressar a negociação de um acordo de livre comércio entre o MERCOSUL e a JORDÂNIA. O Presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva disse, durante seminário com empresários dos dois países, no dia 18/03/10, em Amã, que essa será uma das prioridades da presidência brasileira no bloco Sul-Americano, no segundo semestre. Empresários brasileiros e jordanianos lotaram a platéia para ouvir o discurso do governante brasileiro.
Brazil wants to speed the negotiation of a free trade agreement between Mercosur and Jordan. President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said during a seminar with businessmen from both countries, on 18/03/10, in Amman, this will be a priority for the Brazilian presidency in the South American bloc in the second half. Brazilian and Jordanian businessmen filled the audience to hear the speech of the ruler of Brazil.

O Presidente da Câmara de Comércio Árabe Brasileira, que deu total apoio à organização do evento, Salim Taufic Schahin, lembrou que no ano passado, em viagem à Jordânia, propôs a criação de um conselho empresarial bilateral e ele espera que a visita do Presidente Lula “permita acelerar essa iniciativa”.
The president of the Chamber of Commerce Arab Brazilian, who gave full support to the organization of the event. Salim Taufic Schahin, recalled that last year en route to Jordan, proposed the creation of a bilateral business council and he expects the visit of President Lula “to accelerate this initiative”.
