CUBAN CHRISTIAN HAVE YOU MEET IN PUBLIC PLACES
Em Cuba, a Convenção Batista Brasileira, à qual +Dom Moysés Barbosa pertence há mais de 50 anos, através de sua Junta de Missões Mundiais (JMM), mantém 166 missionários da terra, e os cristãos daquele país estão vivendo um momento histórico, pois o governo autorizou a realização de cultos públicos, o que não era possível até bem pouco tempo atrás.
In Cuba, the Brazilian Baptist Convention, to which belongs +Don Moyses Barbosa for more than 50 years, through its Board of World Mission (JMM), the land has 166 missionaries and Christians in this country are living a historic moment, because the government authorized the holding of public worship, which was not possible until very recently.
Os cristãos cubanos têm se envolvido bastante com a obra do Senhor e contam com o apoio financeiro e em oração dos irmãos do Brasil.
Cuban Christians have been heavily involved with the work of the Lord and rely on financial support and prayers of the brothers of Brazil.

CUBA: CULTO AO AR LIVRE REÚNE OITO MIL PESSOAS
CUBA: WORSHIP OUTDOORS MEETS EIGHT THOUSAND
A realização, recentemente, de um culto ao ar livre na cidade de Manzanillo (Cuba) reuniu oito mil pessoas, sendo a mensagem proferida pelo Pastor Gilberto Prieto, Missionário da terra e que pertence à Junta de Missões Mundiais da Convenção Batista Brasileira.
The performance, recently, an outdoor worship in the city of Manzanillo (Cuba) brought together eight thousand people, the message delivered by Pastor Gilberto Prieto, Missionary of the land that belongs to the Foreign Mission Board of the Brazilian Baptist Convention.
O abençoado evento, que no tempo de Deus apresentará seus frutos, foi organizado pela Primeira Igreja Batista de Manzanillo e contou com o apoio de outras nove igrejas co-irmãs da cidade, e participação com grupos corais de crianças e adultos, além de apresentações de cantores evangélicos solistas: a informação nos chega em 27 de janeiro de 2011.
The blessed event, which in God's time shall submit its fruits, was organized by the First Baptist Church of Manzanillo and had the support of nine other sister-churches of the city, and involvement with choirs of children and adults, and presentations gospel singers soloists: the information comes to us in January 27, 2011.

Cumprindo agendamento, alguns deles foram recebidos pela primeira mulher na presidência do Brasil, no Palácio do Planalto (sede do governo), entre os quais o Vice-Presidente José Ramon Machado Ventura, de Cuba, como registra a foto.

In the first public pronouncement, immediately upon official release of his victory, President-elect Dilma Rousseff thanked the Brazilian people, and said it will defend the constitution and democracy, and will emphasize assistance to the poor, freedom of press and religious expression, peace social, human rights, stressing that he will fight for women to be more valued in the labor market, and it also has preached respect for the opposition.

EXPOSIÇÃO DE ARTE CUBANA NO BRASIL
CUBAN ART EXHIBITION IN BRAZIL
A EXPOSIÇÃO ARTE DE CUBA, realizada no Brasil de 30/01/06 até 14/01/07 (em quatro cidades, ficando alguns meses em cada uma), reuniu as mais significativas obras das artes plásticas cubanas do século XX até hoje. Um amplo panorama do movimento modernista cubano, seguido dos representantes das gerações dos anos 60, 70 e 80 e uma rigorosa seleção de obras de artistas cubanos contemporâneos, internacionalmente reconhecidos, formarão o total da mostra.
THE EXHIBITION ART OF CUBA, held in Brazil from 30/01/2006 until 14/01/2007 (in four cities, leaving a few months each), brought together the most significant works of Cuban plastic arts of the twentieth century until today. A broad panorama of Cuban modernist movement, followed by representatives of generations of the 60, 70 and 80 and a rigorous selection of works by contemporary Cuban artists, internationally recognized, form the total of the show.
Ao longo do século XX, a arte cubana viu-se marcada pela experimentação e diversidade das expressões. A curadoria escolheu três linhas temáticas gerais que resumem diversas tendências e a partir delas organiza o conjunto da mostra: A busca das raízes da cultura cubana, Experimentação com a linguagem plástica e compromisso Social do Artista.
Throughout the twentieth century, Cuban art found himself marked by experimentation and diversity of expressions. The curators chose three lines that summarize several general themes and trends from them organize the whole show: The search for the roots of Cuban culture, experimentation with visual language and Social commitment of the Artist.

A Caixa Cultural de Brasília exibiu 140 cartazes produzidos entre a década de 60 e início de 90, pelo Instituto Cubano de Arte e Indústria Cinematográfica. A exposição funcionou de 04 de março a 11 de abril de 2010 com entrada franca.
Caixa Cultural de Brasília exhibited 140 posters produced between the 60s and early 90s, the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry. The exhibition ran from March 4 to April 11, 2010 with free admission.
Azcuzy, Damian, Niko e Raul Martinez foram os principais nomes da lista de vários artistas selecionados. Constatou-se que a serigrafia era a técnica de impressão mais utilizada, seguindo especialmente referências de cartazes europeus, como húngaros, tchecos e poloneses. Foram enfocados, ainda, filmes de muitos outros países.
Azcuzy, Damian, Niko and Raul Martinez were the biggest names in the list of several artists selected. It was found that the silkscreen printing technique was used more, especially following references posters Europeans, like Hungarians, Czechs and Poles. The study focused also films many other countries.
