No Brasil, sede do Ministério Evangélico Internacional Valorizando a Vida!, liderado por +Dom Moysés Barbosa, Dilma Roussef é a primeira mulher a ocupar a Presidência da República, nos 510 anos de história do país sul-americano, e será empossada dia primeiro de janeiro de 2011. O Brasil foi descoberto pelos portugueses no dia 22 de abril de 1500.

Brasil e CINGAPURA estabeleceram relações diplomáticas em 1967. Os laços bilaterais fortaleceram-se com a abertura de uma Embaixada permanente do Brasil em Cingapura, em 1984.
Brazil and Singapore established diplomatic relations in 1967. Bilateral ties have strengthened with the opening of a permanent Embassy of Brazil in Singapore in 1984.
Durante sua visita oficial ao Brasil, em 20 e 21 de setembro de 2005, o Vice-Primeiro-Ministro de Cingapura, Professor S. Jayakumar, foi recebido por autoridades brasileiras de alto nível.
