Temos profundo respeito e admiração pelos países africanos. A população brasileira pós-descobrimento foi formada fundamentalmente por portugueses e africanos. O Ministério tem este país em grande estima, pois de lá veio uma importante titulação para seu Presidente, ou seja, Personalité of the Africa, expedida em Johannesburgo, decorrente da constatação de que muitas pessoas de países da África estão acessando a página e sendo ricamente abençoadas. Tal titulação foi expedida pela Order of Merit Theological Mennorah Yeshua Mashiach, que faz pesquisas ao redor do globo e avaliações para distinguir obreiros, igrejas e ministérios.

O Arcebispo Desmond Tutu foi premiado por representar um símbolo na luta dos Direitos Humanos na África do Sul, especialmente pela sua proposta de uma sociedade que incluía os direitos civis iguais para todas as pessoas, especialmente na promoção  da integração racial na África do Sul.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu was honored to represent a symbol in the struggle for Human Rights in South Africa, especially on its proposal to a company that included equal civil rights for all people, especially in promoting racial integration in South Africa.

Desmond Tutu, nascido em 07 de outubro de 1931, já recebeu vários prêmios internacionais por seu trabalho pela igualdade entre as raças: Nobel da Paz (1984), Albert  Schweitzer (1986), Gandhi da Paz (2005) e Medalha Presidencial da Liberdade (Estados Unidos - 2009), além de ter sido condecorado Capelão da Ordem de São João pela Rainha Isabel II (Inglaterra - 1995).

Desmond Tutu, born on October 7, 1931, has received several international awards for his work for equality among races: Nobel Peace Prize (1984), Albert Schweitzer (1986), Gandhi Peace (2005) and Presidential Medal of Freedom (USA - 2009), and has been awarded Chaplain of the Order of Saint John by Queen Elizabeth II (England - 1995).

Será em 2015, na cidade de Durban, na África do Sul, o 21º Congresso da Aliança Batista Mundial, sob a presidência do americano John Upton (foto acima), eleito e empossado no último Congresso que teve lugar no Havaí, de 08 de julho a 01 de agosto de 2010.

Will be in 2015 in Durban, South Africa, the 21th Congress of the Baptist World Alliance, chaired by American John Upton (pictured above), elected and sworn in at the last Congress held in Hawaii, July 08 to August 01, 2010.

Durban é a terceira maior cidade do país com cerca de 2,7 milhões de habitantes, e um grande centro turístico, com o maior porto  de todo o Continente Africano (entre os portos generalistas), sendo a língua mais falada o zulu, seguida pelo inglês, o afrikaans e o hindi.

Durban is the third largest city with about 2.7 million inhabitants and a major tourist center, with the largest port in the entire African Continent (between ports generalists), being the most spoken language Zulu, followed by English, Afrikaans and Hindi.

ÁFRICA DO SUL NA REUNIÃO DO CLIMA, NO BRASIL
SOUTH AFRICA AT CLIMATE MEETING IN BRAZIL

Será realizada, nos dias 25 e 26 de julho, no Brasil (Rio de Janeiro), a IV Reunião Ministerial de coordenação entre Brasil, África do Sul, Índia e China (BASIC) sobre as negociações em curso no âmbito da Convenção-Quadro das Nações Unidas sobre Mudança do Clima.

Will be held on days 25 and July 26 in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro), the Fourth Ministerial Meeting of coordination between Brazil, South Africa, India and China (BASIC) on the ongoing negotiations under the Framework Convention United Nations Convention on Climate Change.

A reunião será precedida de encontro de peritos em mudança do clima (dias 23 e 24 de julho) e de reunião de negociadores-chefes do processo em curso nas Nações Unidas (dia 24 de julho).

The meeting will be preceded by a meeting of experts on climate change (23 and July 24) and meeting of chief negotiators in the ongoing process at the UN (July 24).

A reunião será co-presidida pelo Embaixador Antonio de Aguiar Patriota, Ministro interino das Relações Exteriores, e pela Ministra do Meio Ambiente, Izabella Teixeira, ambos do Brasil. (21/07/10)

Afirmou textualmente o Presidente, em fala que foi divulgada também pela página do Palácio do Planalto na internet:

On his radio program “BREAKFAST WITH THE PRESIDENT”, the day 27/07/2010 The President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (photo), of Brazil, said there was a debt of Brazil and Africa that will never be paid in cash. Literally said the president, in speech that was also released by the page from the Presidential Palace on the Internet:

“É importante a gente nunca esquecer que nós ficamos 380 anos praticando escravidão neste país. O Brasil foi o último país do mundo a abolir a escravidão. Acho que nós temos uma dívida enorme com o continente africano, com o povo africano. É uma dívida que a gente nunca vai poder pagar em dinheiro. A gente vai poder pagar em solidariedade, em ajuda humanitária, em ajuda ao desenvolvimento, em ajuda no conhecimento científico e tecnológico que o Brasil tem a ajudar o povo da África. Assim como o Brasil, todos aqueles que conseguiram crescer colocando em prática a política, eu diria, intolerável da escravidão”.

“It's important we never forget that we were 380 years practicing slavery in this country. Brazil was the last country to abolish slavery. I think we have a huge debt to the African continent with the African people. It is a debt we will never be able to pay in cash. We will be able to pay in solidarity in humanitarian assistance in development aid, aid in the scientific and technological knowledge that Brazil has to help the people of Africa. Like Brazil, those who managed to grow by putting into practice the policy, I would say, intolerable slavery”.

Com a finalidade de educar e divertir, o  Instituto de Pesquisas Científicas e Tecnológicas do Estado do Amapá (Brasil) e a organização ambientalista Conservação Internacional  realizaram  de 04/08/05 a 20/02/06, a exposição fotográfica "Viagem ao Mundo da Biodiversidade".

A iniciativa mostrou à sociedade  um pouco dos locais com maior diversidade biológica do planeta. Além da Amazônia, que protagoniza a visita com o Corredor de Biodiversidade do Amapá, a exposição exibiu imagens de pessoas, paisagens, flora e fauna do Alasca, Bolívia, Peru, Galápagos, Guatemala, Guiana, México, Botsuana, Madagascar, África do Sul, Indonésia e Papua Nova Guiné.

The Minister of Cities of Brazil, Marcio Fortes de Almeida, received the South African Minister for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Sicelo Shiceka, 14/04/10 days in Brasilia to discuss the cooperation between member countries of IBSA Forum ( India, Brazil and South Africa).

A autoridade Sul-Africana  veio ao Ministério das Cidades saber como o Governo Federal brasileiro estabelece as parcerias com estados e municípios para realizar obras de urbanização de favelas e produzir moradias para população de baixa renda.

Disse, ainda, de seu desejo de ver o vigor de seu país aliado ao do Brasil, promovendo o desenvolvimento das regiões onde as duas nações estão situadas.

Speaking at the Business Forum Brazil-South Africa, 08/10/2009 days in Sao Paulo, President of SOUTH AFRICA, Jacob Zuma (pictured) said that Brazil is the economic powerhouse of the South American continent. He also said his desire to see the force of his ally to that of Brazil, promoting the development of the regions where the two nations are located.

 JOGADORES  DO BRASIL FAZEM “TURNÉ DA ESPERANÇA” NA ÁFRICA
LAYERS OF BRAZIL MAKE “TURN OF HOPE” IN AFRICA

Ex-jogadores de futebol profissional, do Brasil, todos cristãos, estiveram  participando da TURNÊ DA ESPERANÇA 2009 (TOUR OF HOPE) por cinco países da África, nos meses de Julho e Agosto de 2009,  integrando a equipe Atletas Levando o Evangelho ao Mundo (ALEM), órgão da Junta de Missões Mundiais da Convenção Batista Brasileira que, atendendo convite de autoridades cristãs e, também, de governantes do Burundi,  Quênia,  Uganda,  Madagascar e África do Sul, fizeram vários  jogos amistosos e beneficentes.

Former professional soccer players from Brazil, all Christians, were participating in the TOUR OF HOPE 2009 (TOUR OF HOPE) for five countries in Africa, in the months of July and August 2009, joining the team Athletes Taking the Gospel to the World ( ALEM), an agency of the World Mission Board of the Brazilian Baptist Convention who, on invitation of Christian authorities, and also the rulers of Burundi, Kenya, Uganda, Madagascar and South Africa, made several friendly matches and charity.

É de se destacar que Rose, apesar de ter todo o seu tempo absorvido pela pintura, ainda encontra espaço para se dedicar às obras de cunho social, não deixando de atender aos apelos de seu bondoso coração, com o qual faz alegres e coloridas as vidas de tantas pessoas carentes, a exemplo do que faz com seus quadros.

Rose Canazzaro is a Brazilian artist who has won international recognition for the excellence of his paintings. In the SOUTH AFRICA this recognition has been expressed in an expressive way, through the messages that arrive in Brazil. O Presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva iniciou no dia 14/10/07 sua sétima viagem ao continente africano. Acompanhado de empresários dos setores de energia, construção, indústria aeronáutica e finanças, Lula visitou Burkina Faso, República do Congo, África do Sul e Angola. A agenda incluiu assinatura de acordos bilaterais e multilaterais e participação na Segunda Cúpula do Foro de Diálogo Índia–Brasil–África do Sul (IBAS).

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva started on 14/10/07 her seventh trip to Africa. Accompanied by businessmen from the energy, construction, aviation industry and finance, Lula visited Burkina Faso, Congo, South Africa and Angola. The agenda included the signing of bilateral and multilateral agreements and participation in the Second Summit of the Forum of the India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA).

A viagem começou por Burkina Faso, no dia 15, em retribuição à visita ao Brasil do Presidente Blaise Compaoré, em setembro de 2003. De acordo com o Itamaraty, os dois países firmaram instrumento de cooperação em  cotonicultura (produção de algodão), acordo de cooperação técnica na área educacional e protocolo de cooperação em saúde em áreas como medicina tradicional e bancos de leite.

The journey began by Burkina Faso, on 15, in return for a visit to Brazil by President Blaise Compaoré, in September 2003. According to the Foreign Ministry, the two countries signed an instrument of cooperation in cotton production (cotton), technical cooperation agreement in education and protocol of cooperation in health in areas such as traditional medicine and milk banks. PRESBITERIANOS CUMPREM MANDAMENTO CRISTÃO NA ÁFRICA DO SUL
PRESBYTERIAN FULFILL THE COMMANDMENT CHRISTIAN IN SOUTH AFRICA

Cumprindo o “Ide” do Senhor Jesus, estampado no versículo de Marcos 16:15 (estampado no cartaz acima), um grupo de missionários brasileiros atravessou o Oceano Atlântico e atualmente ajuda refugiados de diversos países que chegaram à ÁFRICA DO SUL, vindo de outros países do continente, para fugir de condições adversas como secas, doenças e miséria.

Fulfilling the commandment of the Lord Jesus, printed in verse of Mark 16:15 (printed on the poster above), a group of Brazilian missionaries crossed the Atlantic Ocean and now aids refugees from various countries who come to SOUTH AFRICA, coming from other countries continent to escape adverse conditions such as drought, disease and misery.

Em todo o mundo são quase cem agências de trabalho com missionários, nos quais estão envolvidas cerca de três mil pessoas, que carecem de orações e o Ministério Evangélico Internacional Valorizando a Vida! mantém um programa permanente de intercessão pelos agentes de Deus fora do Brasil e convida a todos os irmãos para estarem orando, diariamente, alguns minutos na parte da manhã, por estes embaixadores dos Santos Evangelhos.

All over the world are almost one hundred agencies working with missionaries, they are involved about three thousand people in need of prayer and the International Evangelical Ministry Valuing Life! maintains an ongoing program of intercession by the agents of God outside of Brazil and invites all brothers to be praying every day, a few minutes in the morning, for these ambassadors of the Holy Gospels.

Fazem parte da equipe da Agência Presbiteriana de Missões Transculturais, e na Africa do Sul distribui alimentos para refugiados. Mas não é só isso: eles integram um projeto que inclui para estas pessoas música, informática, costura e cerâmica, além dos cultos regulares.

The photo above is the missionary who Gessé Rivers (without cap), with his wife Yolanda, have already served the ministry in Mozambique. They are part of the Agency staff Presbyterian Mission Transcultural, in the South Africa distributing food to refugees. But not only that they are part of a project that iucludes these people to music, computers, sewing and ceramics, in addition to regular services.

O Ministério Evangélico Internacional Valorizando a Vida! vem recebendo inúmeros pedidos de orações pelos missionários que estão em vários campos ao redor do globo. Um dos mais recentes é pela missionária Aparecida Fidelis, da Igreja Assembléia de Deus, que está atuando na ÁFRICA DO SUL, mais exatamente da região de Johannesburgo. Seu nome foi colocado no Livro da Bênção: que Deus em sua infinita bondade e misericórdia esteja capacitando e protegendo esta obreira.

The International Evangelical Ministry Valuing The Life! has received numerous requests for prayers for the missionaries who are in various camps around the globe. One of the most recent is the missionary Aparecida Fidelis, the Assemblies of God, who is acting in SOUTH AFRICA, precisely in Joannesburg. His name was placed in the Book of Blessing: that God in his infinite goodness and mercy is empowering and protecting this worker.

O Brasil está presente na evangelização da ÁFRICA DO SUL, através de missionários especialmente treinados pela Junta de Missões Mundiais, órgão da Convenção Batista Brasileira (CBB).

Brazil is present in the evangelization of SOUTH AFRICA, by missionaries specially trained by the Board of World Missions, an agency of the Brazilian Baptist Convention (CBB).

O Pastor Moysés Barbosa é filiado à CBB há muitos anos e sempre procura de alguma forma apoiar as atividades evangelísticas fora do Brasil, não apenas no aspecto financeiro, mas também orando continuamente pelos “Embaixadores de Cristo” em outras nações, como afirma.

Pastor Moyses Barbosa is affiliated to the CBB for many years and always looking for some support outreach activities outside of Brazil, not only the financial aspect, but also continually praying for the “Ambassadors of Christ” in other nations as states.

A África do Sul fica na área 6, do Sul da África, juntamente com Angola, Botsuana e Moçambique.

Na sede da Junta de Missões Mundiais - espaço que é o auditório onde são realizados os cultos da Junta e que serve, também, como local para reuniões, foi inaugurado o retrato do saudoso Pastor Waldemiro Tymchak, que por praticamente sua vida inteira dirigiu a JMM.

At the headquarters of the Board of World Missions - space is the auditorium where the services are performed of the Board and serving also as a venue for meetings, opened a portrait of the late Pastor Valdemiro Tymchak, that for almost his entire life directed the JMM.

O Jornal Lance! realizou no Memorial das América Latina (São Paulo - Brasil) a Exposição Mundo Lance, de 16/03 a 11/04/10, mostrando a cultura do país-sede da Copa de 2010, bem como  contando a história da Copa do Mundo, do futebol e da ÁFRICA DO SUL através de atividades interativas, games e jogos “analógicos” tradicionais como, entre eles o futebol de botão.

The Newspaper Lance! held at the Memorial of Latin America (Sao Paulo - Brazil) World Exposition Lance, of 3.16 to 11/04/10, showing the culture of the host country's World Cup in 2010 and telling the story of World Cup soccer SOUTH AFRICA and through interactive activities, games and games "analog" as traditional, including the football button.

Depois da história do país e sua relação com o mundo, houve setores dedicados a paisagens, fauna, esportes radicais e expressões culturais e ainda um módulo interativo, usando tecnologia e objetos para  serem  tocados, como instrumentos musicais, tecidos, brinquedos, dentre outros.

Na parte sobre futebol, o visitante teve a oportunidade de reviver a história das Copas do Mundo com base numa genealogia feita pelo Jornalista e Escritor José Roberto Torero, e ilustrada com centenas de fotos do acervo do Grupo Lance.

No mês de outubro o Pastor Lauro Mandira, Gerente de Missões Mundiais, esteve no SENEGAL e em GUINÉ-BISSAU, visitando missionários do Brasil que atuam no campo do noroeste africano, não apenas para acompanhar o trabalho, mas para apoiá-los pessoalmente no suprimento das eventuais necessidades. Não faltaram momentos de confraternização.

In October, Pastor Lauro Mandira, Manager of World Mission, was in SENEGAL and GUINEA-BISSAU, visiting missionaries in Brazil working in the field of northwest Africa, not only to follow the work, but to support them in person at the supply of inquiry. There were also moments of fellowship.

Antes o Pastor Lauro passou por Portugal e pela Itália, para reunião com lideranças batistas daqueles países, visitas estas em companhia do Pastor Sócrates Oliveira de Souza, Diretor Executivo (interino) de Missões Mundiais.

Before Pastor Lauro passed through Portugal and Italy to meet with Baptist leaders of those countries, these visits in the company of Pastor Socrates Oliveira de Souza, Executive Director (interim) of World Missions.

Ambos são da Convenção Batista Brasileira, denominação a que pertence o Pastor Dr. Moysés Barbosa, Presidente do Ministério Evangélico Internacional Valorizando a Vida! Que Deus continue abençoando e capacitando cada vez mais estes grandes homens de Deus.

The Pastor Jose Wellington Bezerra da Costa is a Brazilian who led several churches in at least three continents: the Americas (north and south, in Brazil and most of them), Europe and in Africa.

Nos Estados Unidos, onde mantém inúmeras, obteve reconhecimento da Organização das Nações Unidas, já que foi distinguido com homenagem especial por ser um pacifista.

No Brasil ele acaba de receber o importante título de Ministro do Ano, causando alegria nos irmãos da África e nos demais. A honraria foi expedida por instituição que congrega obreiros de diferentes denominações evangélicas.

Na África do Sul, onde o Ministério Evangélico Internacional Valorizando a Vida! já consolidou frutíferos relacionamentos, a titulação da artista plástica brasileira Rose Canazzaro como EMBAIXADORA DA PAZ foi muito aplaudida, pois é considerada em Johannesburgo como pessoa que faz jus a tão elevada distinção, pois vem apoiando campanhas humanitárias na África (ela estudou e se graduou em História da África). Como exemplo cita-se a doação recente (2008) de obras para ajudar na busca de recursos em favor de crianças no Kenia.

Rose faz parte de um grupo de artistas italianos que a cada um ou dois anos doam suas obras de arte em pequeno formato, para que sejam vendidas e o valor total arrecadado é destinado às crianças do Kenia. Na última doação aqui referida, Rose contribuiu com dez telas de sua autoria, formando uma série intitulada CUORE... COLORE... AMORE! Estas três últimas palavras, em italiano,podem ser traduzidas assim: CORAÇÕES COLORIDOS DE AMOR!

Rose is part of a group of Italian artists that every one or two years donate their works of art in small format, to be sold and the total amount collected is sent to the children of Kenya. The last gift mentioned here, Rose contributed ten pictures of his own, forming a series entitled CUORE... COLORE... AMORE! These three words in Italian, can be translated as: COLORED HEARTS OF LOVE!

This title is of profound significance and mission of the bear is very noble. When a country wants to do this in other nations it sends its ambassadors. This is the usual practice and that produces many benefits for all.

Paz é o que a humanidade mais deseja na atualidade: sim, o mundo precisa de paz.

Peace is what most want to humanity today: yes, the world needs peace.

E a PAZ, desejando estar presente no maior número de lugares, envia seus embaixadores, pessoas pública e notoriamente comprometidas com os princípios de paz que emanam da Carta Magna das Nações Unidas e também de sua Declaração de Direitos Humanos. Os EMBAIXADORES DA PAZ se orgulham da missão que lhes é confiada.

AND PEACE, wishing to be present in as many places, sending their ambassadors, public and people with a proven commitment to the principles of peace emanating from the Charter of the United Nations and also of its Declaration of Human Rights.
