Temos recebido muitas visitas dos açorianos e ficamos felizes, pois com este fato, todos os países lusófonos ficam integrados ao Ministério Evangélico Internacional Valorizando a Vida!, que tem sua direção no Brasil, onde a lingua portuguesa é a oficial.

No Brasil, sede do Ministério Evangélico Internacional Valorizando a Vida!, liderado por +Dom Moysés Barbosa, Dilma Roussef é a primeira mulher a ocupar a Presidência da República, nos 510 anos de história do país sul-americano, e será empossada dia primeiro de janeiro de 2011. O Brasil foi descoberto pelos portugueses no dia 22 de abril de 1500.

A diretora regional das Comunidades dos Açores, Rita Dias, iniciou no dia 03 de dezembro de 2009 uma visita às comunidades açorianas dos Estados de Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro, do Brasil.

Participou de jantar comemorativo do décimo aniversário da Casa dos Açores da Ilha, em Santa Catarina, estado no qual manteve reuniões de trabalho com a Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, com o Núcleo de Estudos Açorianos e com Instituto Histórico e Geográfico, além de visitar diversas instituições que promovem a identidade açoriana, presente ali há mais de 250 anos.

No período de 04 a 31 de agosto de 2010, realizou-se no Brasil (São José - Florianópolis), uma exposição fotográfica de Joi Cletison, com dezessete imagens coloridas e ampliadas do Arquipélago dos Açores, promoção da Secretaria de Cultura e Arte da Universidade de Santa Catarina.

A exposição foi montada para comemorar os 260 anos da chegada dos açorianos para povoar o sul do Brasil, especificamente Santa Catarina, valendo ressaltar que o autor das fotos atua há mais de 25 anos e já apresentou seu trabalho inúmeras vezes no Brasil e no exterior.
