+Dom Moysés Barbosa exerceu o ministério pastoral na Segunda Igreja de Carmo (RJ), de 26 de março de 1995 a 1º de abril de 2006, período em que, com a ajuda dos valorosos irmãos liderou a construção do templo próprio: a Igreja se reunia em um imóvel residencial alugado.
+Don Moyses Barbosa exercised his pastoral ministry at the Second Church of Carmo (RJ) of 26 March 1995 to April 1, 2006, during which, with the help of the valiant brothers led the construction of the temple itself: the Church gathered in a rented residential property.
No dia 20 de junho de 2004, a Igreja completou 50 anos de fundação (Jubileu de Ouro) e para ter esta marca histórica aposta de modo proeminente em seus registros ministeriais, a Igreja lhe concedeu esta Placa Comemorativa, mediante diploma de outorga assinado pelo irmão Diácono João Batista do Nascimento, Vice-Presidente, cujo nome também aparece na placa: +Dom Moysés ressalta, com muito prazer, que o irmão João foi um de seus grandes colaboradores enquanto esteve ministrando naquela Igreja.
On June 20, 2004, the church celebrated its 50th anniversary of foundation (Golden Jubilee) and to have this milestone affixed prominently on their ministerial records, the church gave him this commemorative plaque, certificate of award signed by his brother Birth of John the Baptist deacon, Vice-President, whose name also appears on the card: + Don Moyses notes with great pleasure that Brother John was one of its major contributors while he was ministering at the church.
Ao deixar a Segunda Igreja Batista de Carmo, para assumir outros ministérios, +Dom Moysés (que exerceu a mais longa liderança da Igreja) passou o cajado para o Pastor Levi Silva, que residia em Sumidouro (também no RJ, não muito longe de Carmo).
Leaving the Second Baptist Church of Caramel, to take other ministries, +Don Moyses (who served the longest church leadership) has the staff to Pastor Levi Silva, who lived in sink (also in Rio de Janeiro, not far from Caramel ).
O nome anterior da Igreja era Igreja Batista de Astréa (um distrito da cidade), onde situava-se o templo: com o êxodo rural, a localidade ficou sem população e o templo perdeu a finalidade, o que motivou a instalação na área urbana com o atual nome.
The previous name of the Church was Baptist Church of Astrea (a city district), where stood the temple, with the rural exodus, the town population and the temple was not lost to purpose, which led to the installation in the urban area with current name.
