COORDINATOR FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND ENVIRONMENT
No dia 05 de junho de 2011 - data internacional dedicada ao meio ambiente e à ecologia, +Dom Moysés Barbosa recebeu uma importante titulação, que na verdade é uma grande responsabilidade, qual seja: Coordenador de Direitos Humanos e Meio Ambiente na Região Centro-Sul do Estado do Rio de Janeiro.
On June 5, 2011 - the international date dedicated to the environment and ecology, +Don Moyses Barbosa received a major title, which is actually a great responsibility, namely, Coordinator of Human Rights and Environment in the Mid-South the State of Rio de Janeiro.
A nomeação foi feita pelo Delegado de Direitos Humanos do Comitê Mundial da Paz, Dr. Alexandre Silva Carvalho, que tem atuação no campo fluminense e a escolha de +Dom Moysés para auxiliá-lo dirigindo uma representação no Centro-Sul, levou em conta suas habilitações e capacidade e ainda sua comprovada sensibilidade, o que lhe permite exercer o encargo de modo produtivo para a comunidade, sem criar áreas de atrito que tal segmento facilmente enseja.
The appointment was made by the Delegate of the Human Rights Committee of World Peace, Dr Alexandre Silva Carvalho, who is active in the field and the choice of Rio +Don Moyses to help him driving a representation in the Mid-South, took into account their qualifications and capacity and also its proven sensitivity, allowing you to carry the burden so productive for the community, without creating areas of friction that gives rise to such segments easily.
Ao ser investido neste comissionamento, respaldado nos princípios que emanam da Carta Magna e da Declaração dos Direitos Humanos das Nações Unidas, +Dom Moysés disse, dentro de sua peculiar humildade, que está aquém dos requisitos que tal missão exige: mas ao ser encorajado pelo Dr. Alexandre Carvalho, afirmou que está habituado a grandes desafios e, assim, multiplicará seus esforços para fazer sempre o melhor e colaborar em mais um segmento da vida comunitária.

+Dom Moysés, apesar de não ter saído do Brasil para missões da ONU, por não ter sido necessário, como 3º sargento fez parte de um grupo de militares preparado para qualquer eventualidade, e nesta condição há algumas décadas passou à reserva do Exército e até hoje guarda com muito carinho sua boina azul, presente de seu comandante capitão Cordeiro: hoje, com quase 70 anos de idade (estamos em 2011), continua trabalhando em favor da Paz, da Justiça, da preservação ambiental e, dentro de suas limitações, na assistência às pessoas atingidas por tragédias, o que já lhe valeu muitos reconhecimentos.
