MEDAL 5º CENTENNIAL OF THE DISCOVERY OF BRAZIL
Esta é sem dúvida uma medalha do maior valor, pelo seu significado, pois evidencia cinco séculos do Descobrimento do Brasil e, também, pela peça em si, muito bonita, prateada, de esmerado acabamento, que chama a atenção pela arte que reflete a profunda sensibilidade na confecção.
This is undoubtedly one of the highest medal, for its meaning, shows five centuries since the discovery of Brazil, and also the play itself, very beautiful, silvery, the neat finish, which calls attention to the art that reflects the deep sensitivity in the making.
Ela vem enriquecer ainda mais o acervo de +Dom Moyses Barbosa, especialmente no aspecto “Descobrimento”, eis que em 15/11/00 recebeu a moeda-medalha de prata comemorativa dos 500 anos do Descobrimento do Brasil, cunhada pelo Governo Federal. Em 22/04/09 recebeu o titulo de Personalidade Brasileira dos 500 Anos e em 27/06/09 foi distinguido com a condecoração Cruz do Descobrimento.
She has further enrich the collection of +Don Moyses Barbosa, especially at a “Discovery”, behold, 11.15.2000, received the silver medal coin commemorating the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Brazil, coined by the Federal Government. On 04.22.2009 he received the title of Personality of the Brazilian 500 Years and 27/06/2009 was awarded a medal Cross of Discovery.
