A Igreja Evangélica do Favor Divino, como tantas outras igrejas e instituições brasileiras, que valorizam as manifestações de civismo, sempre comemora o Dia do Soldado, que transcorre a 15 de agosto.
The Evangelical Church of Divine Favor, as many churches and other Brazilian institutions, who value the expressions of civility, when commemorating the Day of the Soldier, which passes the 15 August.
Em uma destas comemorações, a Igreja distinguiu obreiros e personalidades notoriamente comprometidos com ideais de paz, entre os quais Dr. Moysés,que recebeu o certificado “Mérito Cívico Duque de Caxias”, com a imagem do grande militar, Patrono do Exército Nacional.

Ressalte-se que o Dr. Moysés é graduado da reserva do nosso glorioso Exército Brasileiro, e até hoje guarda com carinho sua boina azul (United Nations Emergency Force), pois fez parte da tropa de reserva. Guarda também com especial cuidado as medalhas militares e cívicas, que recebeu na ativa e mesmo depois de passar à inatividade
