Esta condecoração veio mais de quatro décadas após +Dom Moysés ter feito parte, como graduado do Exército, da “Reserve Troop” da “UNEF - United Nations Emergency Force”, mas é como se tivesse sido outorgada há muito tempo, pois transformou em presente inesquecíveis fatos do passado, época do serviço militar, os quais sempre continuarão enobrecendo a vida do homenageado.
This decoration was more than four decades after +Dom Moysés have been part and graduated from the Army, the “Reserve Troop” of the “UNEF - United Nations Emergency Force”, but it is as if it had been granted long ago, turned it into this unforgettable events of the past, when military service, which will always ennoble the life of the honored.
O dia 29 de Maio é a data magna internacional dos mantenedores de paz da ONU. Foi inserida no calendário cívico pois em tal dia, no ano de 1948, o Conselho de Segurança da ONU autorizou, pela primeira vez, o estabelecimento de uma operação de manutenção de paz, dando inicio então a um programa de busca de soluções pacificas para os conflitos internacionais. Passou a chamar United Nations Emergency Force - UNEF.
The May 29 is the international date of magna peacekeepers of the UN. It was included in the civic calendar because on that day in the year 1948, the Security Council of the UN, authorized for the first time, the establishment of a maintenance of peace, beginning then a program to search for peaceful solutions to international conflicts. Called the United Nations Emergency Force, UNEF.
Quando +Dom Moysés prestou o serviço militar, no Exército Brasileiro, há mais de 40 anos atrás, fez parte da Reserve Troop (contingente de reserva) apto a seguir para o exterior em missão de paz, como sargento, mas não seguiu por não ser preciso, mas recebeu a boina azul de seu comandante de companhia, juntamente com uma medalha.
When +D. Moyses took the military service in the Brazilian Army, more than 40 years ago, he joined the Reserve Troop (number of reserve) able to follow overseas in peacekeeping missions, such as sergeant, but did not be accurate, but received the blue beret of his company commander, along with a medal.
O 29 de Maio é comemorado todos os anos, no Brasil inteiro, seja em unidades militares ou nas diversas associações que congregam veteranos de guerra ou graduados e oficiais da inatividade, tenham ou não saído do país nas missões de paz, por se tratar de uma data magna: Dia Internacional dos Mantenedores de Paz das Nações Unidas.
The May 29 is celebrated every year throughout Brazil, is in military units or in various associations that bring together veterans and senior officials and inactivity, or not left the country in peacekeeping missions, because it is a date magna: International Day of peacekeepers of the United Nations.
Nossos agradecimentos ao Comandante Israel de Oliveira Costa Wangler, Secretário Geral da Organização Brasileira dos Veteranos das Nações Unidas e Estados Americanos, e também ao Major do Exército, Dr. Julio Lopes Queiroz Filho, que inscreveu o nome de +Dom Moysés na relação de personalidades a serem distinguidas com tão elevada comenda. Tal indicação obteve unânime aprovação.

Moysés in respect of persons to be distinguished with high commendation.
Registre-se que +Dom Moysés foi anteriormente distinguido com importantes e significativos exemplares da medalhística cívico-militar, entre os quais Medalha Marechal Hermes Aplicação e Estudo do então Ministério do Exército; Garra e Coragem e Cruz de Honra Legionária, da Legião dos Veteranos de Guerra do Brasil; União dos Heróis, da Academia de Preservação dos Valores Cívicos e Culturais e, ainda, Medalha do XX aniversário da Escola Superior de Guerra.

Moysés was previously distinguished with important and significant examples of civil-military medals, including Marechal Hermes Medal Application and Study of the then Department of the Army; Claw and Courage Cross and Legion of Honor, the Legion of Veterans of War of Brazil; Union of Heroes, the Academy of Civil and Preservation of Cultural Values, and also Medal of the XX anniversary of the School of War.

Não é sempre que as usa publicamente, mas quando o faz é para despertar na comunidade maior ênfase nos sentimentos cívico-patrióticos e nos mais jovens, especialmente, o interesse pelas carreiras militares.
Then +D. Moyses with military decorations, received on active duty and after its completion, in the solemnity of the Fatherland Day. It's not often use them publicly, but when it does is to awaken the community greater emphasis on civic and patriotic feelings and the young, especially, interest in military careers.
