UM RECONHECIMENTO DE SUA ATUAÇÃO COM O HISTORIADOR

RECOGNITION OF HIS PERFORMANCE WITH HISTORIAN

 

A história nos diz que o navegador português Fernão de Magalhães não terá sido um traidor ao seu país, ao promover uma expedição às Molucas sob a égide do Rei de Espanha Carlos I (futuro Imperador Carlos V). Pelo contrário, terá sido um agente secreto de D. Manuel I para que Portugal pudesse vir a negociar com a Espanha, em condições mais favoráveis, a aquisição das Molucas, o que viria a acontecer em 1529 (já durante o reinado de D. João III), mediante o Tratado de Saragoça. Pensava-se, à época, que as Molucas (ilhas ricas em especiarias) estariam localizadas no hemisfério que o Tratado de Tordesilhas reservara para Espanha, pelo  que, para Portugal poder propor ao país vizinho a aquisição daquelas ilhas, era essencial que a Espanha as pudesse conhecer diretamente, acedendo a elas através dum caminho marítimo situado no hemisfério da sua influência. Foi, assim, Fernão de Magalhães incumbido pelo rei D. Manuel I da missão de efetuar a viagem que daria a conhecer, a Espanha, as ilhas Molucas.

Este é um relato importante que se insere nos dados biográficos de Fernão de Magalhães (Sabrosa,1480 — Cebu, Filipinas, 27 de abril de 1521) foi um navegador português, que se notabilizou por ter organizado a primeira viagem de circum-navegação ao globo de 1519 até 1522.

Nascido em família nobre, Magalhães era inquieto por natureza: queria ver o mundo e explorá-lo. Em 1506 viajou para as Índias Ocidentais, participando de várias expedições militares nas Molucas, também conhecidas como as Ilhas das Especiarias.A serviço do rei de Espanha, planejou e comandou a expedição marítima que efetuou a primeira viagem de circum-navegação ao globo. Foi o primeiro a alcançar a Terra do Fogo no extremo sul do continente americano, a atravessar o estreito que hoje leva seu nome e a cruzar o Oceano Pacífico, que nomeou. Fernão de Magalhães foi morto em batalha em Cebu, nas Filipinas no curso da expedição, posteriormente chefiada por Juan Sebastián Elcano até ao regresso em 1522.

Dom Moysés  – descendente de Portugal -  é escritor e poeta há quase cinqüenta anos, e tem o mesmo tempo de historiador: não tem livros publicados na área mas está sempre presente neste segmento nas redes sociais e já recebeu importantes titulações alusivas, valendo ressaltar Doutor Honoris Causa em História Bizantina e também em Histórias Imperiais. Da terra lusitana recebeu o titulo de Conde e sua esposa Dra. Ivanir o de Condessa.

Don Moyses - descendant of Portugal - is a writer and poet almost fifty years ago, and has the same time of a historian: he has published books on but is always present in this segment in social networks and have received important titrations in this area worth mentioning Doctor Honoris Causa in Byzantine History and also in Imperial Histories. COM O APOIO DO MIL: FERNÃO DE MAGALHÃES HOMENAGEADO EM MURAL NO BAIRRO PORTUGUÊS EM MALACA

“Uma pintura mural inspirada na azulejaria portuguesa e a homenagear Fernão de Magalhães vai ser realizada por luso-descendentes e residentes no Bairro Português em Malaca, na Malásia, no próximo fim de semana.

A realizar num muro com 10 metros de comprimento por três metros de altura, e situado no centro do Bairro Português em Malaca, "um traço por Magalhães" é um projeto desenvolvido pelo centro artístico A Casa ao Lado, em parceria com a Associação Coração de Malaca, o Instituto Camões e o Movimento Internacional Lusófono (MIL).

A iniciativa surge no âmbito das comemorações do quinto centenário da primeira volta ao mundo, tendo como missão deixar uma "marca" da identidade portuguesa em diferentes comunidades portuguesas espalhadas pelo mundo, segundo um comunicado de A Casa ao Lado.

Para Joana Brito, diretora artística de A Casa ao Lado, esta intervenção artística tem como objetivo "criar um pólo de referência turística que integre os roteiros da arte urbana do próprio bairro", além de "requalificar o patrimônio municipal e local".
"Com este projeto pretendemos também ajudar a potenciar o empreendedorismo local, ensinando os participantes a produzir peças artesanais através de técnicas simples de reprodução gráfica, tirando assim partido da imagem criada no mural artístico, para que posteriormente possam vender as peças a turistas", adiantou Joana Brito.

E acrescentou: "O fato de este projeto de arte urbana envolver a participação ativa da comunidade local proporciona não apenas o acesso à experimentação artística a jovens com condições sócio-econômicas vulneráveis, mas também a integração de jovens em risco de exclusão social e o desenvolvimento da consciência cívica, pela promoção da cidadania e participação na comunidade".

Antes desta iniciativa na antiga colônia portuguesa de Malaca, A Casa ao Lado realizou, nos últimos meses, intervenções semelhantes (pinturas murais) no âmbito do projeto "Um traço por Magalhães" em Portugal, envolvendo as comunidades locais em Matosinhos, Leça da Palmeira e Ponte da Barca.

Em maio do ano passado, A Casa ao Lado envolveu cerca de 150 emigrantes e luso-descendentes a residir no bairro nova-iorquino do Soho na criação de um vitral baseado nos padrões da azulejaria portuguesa.

Esta organização foi fundada em 2005, em Vila Nova de Famalicão, pelos artistas plásticos Joana Brito e Ricardo Miranda. Before this initiative in the former Portuguese colony of Malacca, A Casa ao Lado carried out, in the last months, similar interventions (mural paintings) within the scope of the project "Um traço por Magalhães" in Portugal, involving the local communities in Matosinhos, Leça da Palmeira and Ponte da Barca.

SUA ALTEZA GRÃO-DUQUE DE ENTRE-RIOS DOM MOYSÉS BARBOSA

NOTA:   O MIL é uma notável organização com  sede em Lisboa, presidida na atualidade pelo Prof. Dr. Renato Epifânio, e tem por objetivo defender os interesses dos países e comunidades de língua portuguesa ao redor do globo. Dom Moysés Barbosa (foto acima) sente-se honrado em ser um dos representantes do Brasil no Conselho Consultivo desta Instituição (desde 2011), sendo continuamente reeleito. No final do texto detalhando a diplomação, consta que este religioso recebeu em Portugal o titulo de Conde, mas  vale notar que desde 2019 Dom Moysés é também Grão-Duque de Entre-Rios, eis que assim foi nobilitado pela  Sereníssima Casa Dinástica  Principesca e Grão-Ducal de Lourenço e Barbosa.
