SINETE DA FAMÍLIA TAMÁ ACHADO EM ESCAVAÇÕES ARQUEOLÓGICAS
SIGNET TAMA FAMILY FOUND IN ARCHEOLOGICAL EXCAVATIONS
A arqueóloga Dra. Eilat Mazar, da Hebrew University, encontrou em janeiro de 2008, em Jerusalém, um anel ou sinete utilizado pela família Temech ou Tama: como se sabe, a Biblia registra que em ocasiões importantes, inúmeros personagens bíblicos, como por exemplo José, no Egito, e o filho pródigo, quando encontrou o pai.
The archaeologist Dra. Eilat Mazar of Hebrew University, found in January 2008 in Jerusalem, a signet ring or used by the family or Temech Tama: as you know, the Bible records that on important occasions, many biblical characters, such as Joseph in Egypt, and the prodigal son, when he met his father.
Inúmeros sinetes foram encontrados em escavações arqueológicas nas últimas três décadas: a família Tama tem registro no livro de Neemias (capítulo 7, versículo 55), e no mesmo capítulo, versículo 6, vemos que esta família fazia parte da leva de judeus que retornaram da Babilônia, onde foram escravos por cerca de 70 anos.
Several seals have been found in archaeological excavations in the last three decades: the family Tama has recorded in the Book of Nehemiah (chapter 7, verse 55) and in the same chapter, verse 6, we see that this family was part of the wave of Jews returning from Babylon, where they were slaves for about 70 years.

In the seal of Jews who arrived in Jerusalem, two people stand before an altar with his hands raised, as can be seen in the usual attitude of reverence in the Ancient Near East, and worship the Babylonian god Sin (moon god), inherited in idolatry seven decades of living and submission to a pagan people.
