ENCONTRADO O TÚMULO DE ZACARIAS, FILHO DO SACERDOTE JOIADA
THE TOMB OF ZECHARIAH SON OF JEHOIADA THE PRIEST
“E o Espírito de Deus revestiu a Zacarias, filho do sacerdote Joiada, o qual se pôs em pé acima do povo, e lhes disse: Assim diz Deus: Por que transgredis os mandamentos do SENHOR, de modo que não possais prosperar? Porque deixastes ao SENHOR, também ele vos deixará. E eles conspiraram contra ele, e o apedrejaram por mandado do rei, no pátio da casa do SENHOR” (2 Crônicas 24:20-21).
“And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress the commandments of the Lord, so that you can not prosper? Because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken. And they conspired against him, and threw stones at the commandment of the king in the courtyard of the Lord” (2 Chronicles 24:20-21).
Joiada foi sacerdote de 433/410 a.C., e foi sucedido pelo seu filho Joanã (410/371 a.C.)

Este túmulo é um marco proeminente na história dos israelitas, e Jesus falou muito pesado contra a sua geração quando fez referência à morte de Zacarias narrada no texto acima, e há relação direta do túmulo de Zacarias com o discurso de Jesus Cristo que consta do Evangelho de Lucas.
This tomb is a prominent landmark in the history of the Israelites, and Jesus spoke to spoke very heavy against his generation when he made reference to the death of Zachary narrated in the text above, and there is a direct relationship with the tomb of Zechariah's speech given in Jesus Christ Gospel of Luke.

“For this generation is required the blood of all the prophets since the world began, has been shed, From the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah who perished between the altar and the temple, so I say, will be required of this generation” (Luke 11:50-51).
