Estela de Merenptah (foto acima) ou Merneptah é também conhecida por Estela de Israel, pois é a única referência do nome de Israel em documentos egípcios referindo-se ao povo israelita, tendo sido encontrada nas ruínas do templo funerário do Faraó Merenptah (1236 a.C. a 1223 a.C.) em Tebas Ocidental (Museu Egipcio - Cairo).
