CRUCIFICAÇÃO DE JESUS CRISTO: HOUVE TERREMOTO
CRUCIFIXION OF JESUS CHRIST: THERE WAS EARTHQUAKE

“a terra tremeu, fenderam-se as rochas...”
"the earth quaked, rocks were split..."

GÓLGOTA
GOLGOTHA

The Gospel of Matthew makes a detailed account of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, including several events reporting and recording the time when the Son of God expired, still on the cross of Calvary.

We read in Chapter 27, verses 50 and 51 that Jesus gave his spirit to the Father, "the earth shook and the rocks were split, " which means that the stones were there intact, and all the cracks were formed by the earthquake.

Doing archaeological research on Mount Calvary (the Bible uses the skull and place Golgotha, as shown in the Gospels), Thenius Otto, a German, came to the conclusion in 1842, which is the site of the crucifixion, and also there were several visits by Americans had the same conclusion: Rufus Anderson (1845), Fisher Howe (1853), Charles Robinson (1867) and Selah Merill (1845) along with English Henry Tristram (1858) and Ernest Renan (French).

It has been confirmed in the 80's by the archaeologist Ron Wyatt (deceased in 1999) that the local rock formation is full of cracks, some cracks are deep and that resulting from an earthquake of considerable intensity and his research revealed the existence of time cracks, coincident with the time of the crucifixion.
