ZEBOIM VALLEY
Zeboim: um vale ou córrego acidentado próximo a Gibear em Benjamim (1 Samuel 13:18) e provavelmente foi o barranco que hoje se chama Wady Shakh-ed-Dub'a, ou “barranco da hiena”, ao norte de Jericó.
Zeboim: a stream valley or hilly near Gibear in Benjamin (1 Samuel 13:18) and was probably the bank that is now called Wady Shakh-ed-Dub'a, or “ravine of the hyena”, north of Jericho.
“E Saul e Jônatas, seu filho, e o povo que se achou com eles, ficaram em Gibeá de Benjamim; porém os filisteus se acamparam em Micmás. E os saqueadores saíram do campo dos Filisteus em três companhias; uma das companhias foi pelo caminho Ofra à terra de Sual. Outra companhia seguiu pelo caminho de Bete-Horom, e a outra companhia foi pelo caminho do termo que dá para o Vale de Zeboim na direção do deserto” (I Samuel 13:13-18).
“And Saul and Jonathan his son, and the people that thought with them, abode in Gibeah of Benjamin: but the Philistines encamped in Michmash. And the spoilers came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company was on the way to the land of Sual Ofra. Another company followed the path of Beth Horon, and another company turned the way of the term giving to the Valley Zeboim toward the wilderness” (I Samuel 13:13-18).
