A Bíblia Sagrada foi escrita por partes, em diversas etapas e em épocas diferentes: os seus escritores, inspirados por Deus, iniciaram este trabalho por volta do ano 1.250 antes de Cristo - no tempo de Moisés - quando Ramsés II era o faraó do Egito.
