ABARIM (IJE-ABARIM)
Abarim é uma cadeia de montanhas, entre o Mar Morto e o planalto de Moab, sendo que em um de seus cumes de seus cumes, o Nebo (o mais alto), morreu o profeta Moisés, após contemplar ao longe a Terra Prometida, conforme nos diz o texto sacro em Dt.3:27 e Dt.32:49: os outros picos são Fasga e Fegor, mas todos se situam a leste do Mar Morto, em Moabe, defronte a Jericó.
