INTRODUÇÃO

É com muito prazer que me dirijo aos nobres formandos nesta solenidade. Tive o privilégio de lhes dirigir a palavra quando da instalação destes cursos. Agradeço pela distinção e estarei sempre ao inteiro dispor de todos vocês desta conceituada escola e dos demais segmentos da comunidade local.

DESENVOLVIMENTO

Todas as profissões são nobres, não tenho dúvidas, pois contribuem para o engrandecimento da comunidade, seja coletiva ou individualmente. Mas com relação ao pessoal de enfermagem e dos serviços de diagnóstico e tratamento, há um aspecto a ser ressaltado: vocês lidam diretamente com a vida, a maior bênção que Deus nos concede.

A enfermagem - aliás todos que atuam na área da saúde, para uma abrangência completa, além dos ferramentais próprios de seus afazeres, usam instrumentos preparados por Deus, necessários a uma atuação eficaz, na missão de ajudar na prevenção e cura das enfermidades, não apenas físicas, mas também emocionais, sociais e até mesmo espirituais, dentre tantas outras. Vocês contam com instrumentos especiais por uma razão muito simples: vocês são pessoas especiais para Deus, semeiam o amor ao próximo!

E QUAIS SÃO ESTES INSTRUMENTOS?

OLHOS - com o olhar conseguem dar esperança a quem dela precisa.

A VOZ - com palavras conseguem tranqüilizar e até alegrar entristecidos.

OS PÉS - com os pés conseguem apressar os atendimentos de urgência.

OUVIDOS - conseguem captar, entender e até mesmo decifrar frases incompletas, palavras deformadas e sons incompreensíveis. Gemidos são transformados por vocês em belas letras de canções, que retratam o pedido, a necessidade, o desejo de cada paciente.

AS MÃOS - Ah! As mãos! Elas afagam, acariciam, embalam, amparam, sustentam, ajudam, abraçam. Quantas funções da maior importância. As mãos de vocês, prezados formandos, podem abrir as cortinas da vida!
Havia na Europa uma Catedral. Foi quase que totalmente destruída pelos bombardeios da II Guerra. Uma grande imagem de Cristo ficou aos pedaços. Foi restaurada, mas as mãos não puderam ser refeitas. Ficou sem as mãos. O lugar foi transformado em espaço de visitação pública e uma placa está ali colocada: “AS MÃOS DE JESUS SÃO AS NOSSAS MÃOS”.

E as mãos de todos vocês, queridos formandos, poderão fazer milagres, se forem usadas como se fossem as mãos do Senhor Jesus. Esta deve ser a nossa convicção.

Procurando exercer a missão abraçada sob o temor de Deus, estará se cumprindo na atuação de vocês o oráculo profético do Salmo 91: “Deus dará as ordens e as mãos dos anjos estarão sustentando todos vocês”.

Parabenizo a todos. Que Deus esteja abençoando rica e poderosamente.

INTRODUCTION

It is with great pleasure that I address the graduates at this noble ceremony. I was privileged to speak to them when installing these courses. I appreciate the distinction and will always be at your disposal all of you this prestigious school and the other segments of the local community.

DEVELOPMENT

All professions are noble, no doubt, as they contribute to the enhancement of the community, either collectively or individually. But with respect to the nursing staff and diagnostic services and treatment, there is an aspect to be emphasized: you deal directly with life, the greatest blessing that God gives us.

Nursing - indeed all who work in health, to a full range, and of the tools of their own affairs, using instruments prepared by God, a necessary action effective in assisting in the prevention and cure of diseases, not only physical but also emotional, social and even spiritual, among many others. You have special tools for a simple reason: you are special people to God, sow love of neighbor!

INSTRUMENTS AND WHAT ARE THESE?

EYES - with the look can give hope to those who need it.

THE VOICE - with words can calm down and cheer up sad.

FEET - with your feet can rush the emergency service.

EARS - to capture, understand and even decipher incomplete sentences, words and sounds distorted incomprehensible. Moans are transformed for you into beautiful lyrics of songs that depict the application, the need, the desire of each patient.

HANDS - Ah! The hands! They cuddle, caress, cradle, to sustain, support, help, embrace. How many functions of the utmost importance. The hands of you, dear graduates, can open the curtains of life!

There was a cathedral in Europe. It was almost totally destroyed by bombing War II. A large image of Christ was in pieces. It was restored, but the hands could not be redone. Ran out of hands. The place was transformed into space public visitation and a plaque is placed there, “HANDS OF JESUS ARE OUR HANDS”.

And the hands of all of you, dear graduates, they can do miracles, if they are used like hands of the Lord Jesus. This must be our conviction.

Looking to exercise the mission embraced under the fear of God is being fulfilled in the performance of you prophetic oracle of Psalm 91: “God gives orders and hands of the angels will be supporting you all”.

Congratulations to all. God is blessing rich and powerful.
