= ANDEMOS COM CRISTO =

Hoje falaremos um pouco sobre “andar com Cristo” e vamos começar reproduzindo um episódio do Novo Testamento: o Senhor Jesus, após reunir junto de si os discípulos a multidão, fez três exigências para os que quisessem segui-lo, pois disse com toda a clareza: “Se alguém quiser vir após mim, negue-se a si mesmo, e tome a sua cruz, e siga-me” (Marcos 8:34).

Os amados irmãos já pararam para fazer uma reflexão nestas palavras, na verdade um mandamento do Mestre? Vamos nos silenciar por alguns minutos, nada mais que três, e depois cada um responda para si se realmente tem renunciado a todas as coisas para andar com Cristo, para ir na mesma direção dos passos do Senhor, objetivando dar mais robustez à sua fé: será que está havendo obediência?

Estes princípios bíblicos, que não palavras editoriais do evangelista, mas declarações diretas de Jesus junto às pessoas, quais sejam “negar a si mesmo, tomar a sua cruz e seguir a Cristo” verdadeiramente nos conduzem à uma vida nova - salvo pela graça de Deus mediante a fé - sim, pois em nenhum outro há salvação, como cristalinamente nos mostra o Livro de Atos dos Apóstolos - O Evangelho do Espírito Santo. Aleluia!

Negar a si mesmo é nos libertarmos de todos os sentimentos ruins, como por exemplo inveja, ciúmes, vaidade, soberba, avareza, concupiscência da carne, lascívia, ira, desejo de vingança, vícios e tantos outros que o nosso Deus abomina.

Negar a si mesmo é praticar o perdão e amar os inimigos, orar por todos, mesmo por aqueles que sabemos não querer bem a nós, e se queremos segui-lo, temos que fazer como Ele fez, ou seja, submeteu-se à vontade do Pai.

O que significa tomar a cruz? Leiamos Mateus 10:38: “Quem não toma a sua cruz e não segue após mim, não é digno de mim”.

Tomar a sua cruz, amados irmãos, e viver o Evangelho em sua simplicidade, mas ser fiel não apenas por momentos mas enquanto vivermos, retratado em arrependimento, conversão, pedido de perdão, abandono de tudo que seja pecaminoso e com uma entrega total, para seguir-se a partir daí o crescimento espiritual.

Tomar a sua cruz é poder recitar com convicção, confirmando com o estilo de vida, que “Já estou crucificado com Cristo; e vivo, não mais eu, mas Cristo vive em mim; e a vida que agora vivo na carne, vivo-a na fé do Filho de Deus, o qual me amou e se entregou a si mesmo por mim” (Apóstolo Paulo - em Gálatas 2:20).

Resumidamente, tomar a sua cruz é colocar Deus em primeiro lugar.

Seguir a Jesus é cumprir na vida o que está escrito no capítulo 5 da carta do apóstolo Paulo aos crentes de Éfeso: “Sede, pois, imitadores de Deus, como filhos amados; e andai em amor, como também Cristo nos amou e se entregou a si mesmo por nós, como oferta e sacrifício a Deus, em aroma suave...”.

Pensemos nisso, amados irmãos.

Denying yourself is getting rid of all the bad feelings such as envy, jealousy, vanity, pride, greed, lust of the flesh, lust, anger, revenge, addictions and many others that our God abhors.

Denying yourself is to practice forgiveness and loving your enemies, pray for everyone, even those who do not want to know us well, and if we follow it, we have to do as he did, ie, subjected to the will Father's.

What does take up the cross? Let us read Matthew 10:38: “Whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me”.

Take up your cross, my brothers, and live the Gospel in its simplicity, but to be faithful not only for a moment but as long as we portrayed in repentance, conversion, apology, abandonment of all that is sinful and a total commitment to follow from there spiritual growth.

Take up your cross is able to recite with conviction, confirmed with the lifestyle, that “I am crucified with Christ and live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Apostle Paul - Galatians 2:20).

In short, take up his cross is put God first.

Following Jesus in life is to fulfill what is written in Chapter 5 of the letter of the apostle Paul to the believers in Ephesus: “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children, and walk in love as Christ loved us and gave himself himself for us an offering and sacrifice to God, a fragrant...”.
