= SIRVAMOS A DEUS COM DISPOSIÇÃO =

No dia 4 de setembro de 2011 recebi uma mensagem de Portugal com o seguinte teor: “Acabo de verificar, em seu portal, a imensa atividade que o senhor tem desenvolvido ao longo dos últimos tempos; muitos e muitos Parabéns!”.

Foi escrita por um Professor Associado da conceituada Universidade de Évora, Dr. José Manuel de Barros Dias, que tem acompanhado as atividades do Ministério Evangélico Internacional Valorizando a Vida!, que pela graça de Deus presido (parte de nosso trabalho está registrada na página ministerial).

É evidente que fiquei feliz, não apenas pelas palavras gentis e, sobretudo, de reconhecimento, mas principalmente por constatar que as mensagens bíblicas que divulgamos e nossa modesta participação na causa dos Santos Evangelhos com ênfase na proclamação das Boas Novas estão sendo vistas e ouvidas , estão chegando a lugares distantes, o que significa dizer que estamos sendo abençoados e capacitados por Deus.

Mas por que trago este tema? A resposta é simples, irmãos. Às vezes não falamos, não pregamos, não convidamos para cultos, programações na Igreja, estudos etc. presos àquele pensamento negativo “não adianta nada disso, ninguém quer saber de reunião, de cântico, de Bíblia, o pessoal quer é ir na exposição, no show da Alcione, do Luan Santana...”. Mas na verdade, prezados irmãos, temos é que fazer a nossa parte, sem se abater diante de falta de resultados satisfatórios visíveis, e orar para que o Espírito Santo toque no coração das pessoas com as quais fizermos contato.

Recebi esta palavra e é bem possível que outras virão, mas mesmo que não venham, não desanimarei e continuarei cumprindo o “ide por todo o mundo e pregai o Evangelho a toda a criatura”, e exorto a todos para que também não desanimem quando acharem que suas palavras não estejam produzindo ressonância.

Servir a Deus não é apenas ser membro da Igreja, cantar no Coral, ser Introdutor, Professor de Escola Bíblica, exercer tantas outras atividades religiosas, mas também praticar ações que possam levar pessoas ao conhecimento do Evangelho, com disposição, com todas as ferramentas de que dispomos, sem preocupar se haverá frutos ou não e, principalmente, sem esperar nenhum tipo de reconhecimento, pois na verdade precisamos estar com nossa consciência tranquila diante de Deus, e d’Ele nos virá o precioso galardão.

Há muitos anos atrás, depois de uma pregação em uma Igreja, ao sair do púlpito uma irmã me interpelou e disse: “Pastor, sua palavra não me edificou em nada”. Respondi pra ela que aquilo me alegrava, já que depois de centenas de sermões era a primeira pessoa que dizia aquilo, e expliquei: já pensou se eu tivesse ouvido tal afirmação depois de todos os sermões feitos, então, talvez – enfatizei – ficasse triste, mas Deus há de abençoar a irmã.

Mas triste pela fraqueza material, pois não há razão pra isso, pois se em cada sermão com 300 ouvintes, um apenas se manifestasse como ela, não haveria razão para ficar constrangido, pois Deus além de tocar-lhe o coração, certamente tocaria também o coração dos outros 299.

Em 2 Timóteo 4:2, lemos: “Prega a palavra, insta, quer seja oportuno, quer não, corrige, repreende, exorta com toda a longanimidade e doutrina.”. Então, nada pode nos fazer retroceder e diminuir nossa disposição de anunciar a Santa Palavra de Deus. Amém.

= SERVE GOD WITH A WILLINGNESS =

On September 4, 2011 Portugal received a message which reads as follows: "I just check in your portal, the immense activity that you have developed over recent times, many and many congratulations!".

It was written by an Associate Professor at the prestigious University of Evora, Jose Manuel de Barros Dias, who has been following the activities of the International Evangelical Ministry Valuing the Life!, by the grace of God that chair (part of our work is recorded on page ministerial ).

Of course I was happy, not only for the kind words and, above all, recognition, but mainly to note that the biblical messages that advertise and our modest contribution to the cause of the Holy Gospels with emphasis on the proclamation of the Good News is being seen and heard, are coming to distant places, which means that we are being blessed and empowered by God.

But why bring this issue? The answer is simple, brethren. Sometimes we do not talk, do not preach, do not invite you to worship, in church settings, etc. studies. attached to that negative thought "not worth it, no one cares about the meeting, singing, Bible, people want is to go on display at the show of Alcione, the Luan Santana ...". But really, dear brothers, is that we do our part, not to kill before a lack of satisfactory results visible, and pray that the Holy Spirit touch the hearts of the people with whom we make contact.

I received this word and it is quite possible that others will come, but even that does not come, not discouraged and will continue doing the "go around the world and preach the Gospel to every creature," and I urge everyone to do not be discouraged when they find that his words are not producing resonance.

Serving God is not only a member of the Church, singing in the choir, be Introducer, Professor of Bible school, many other religious exercise, but also take actions that might lead people to the knowledge of the Gospel, disposition, with all the tools we have, without worrying if there will be fruit or not and, especially, without expecting any kind of recognition, because we actually need to be with our conscience before God and in Him the precious reward will come.

Many years ago, after preaching in a church, to leave the pulpit a sister challenged me and said, "Pastor, I am not built his word at all." I answered her that it made me happy, because after hundreds of sermons was the first person who said it, and explained, ever thought if I had heard such a statement after all the sermons, then perhaps - stressed - to be sad, but God will bless sister.

But sadly the material weakness, as there is no reason for that, because in every sermon to 300 listeners, only to manifest one like her, there would be no reason to be embarrassed, as well as God touch his heart, will certainly also touch 299 hearts of others.

In 2 Timothy 4:2 we read: "Preach the word; whether appropriate or not, correct, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.". So nothing can make us back off and reduce our willingness to proclaim the Holy Word of God. Amen
