= EM MOZART, INSPIRAÇÃO PARA NOSSAS PRECES =

Lí, recentemente (2011), um texto do Pastor Jabes Nogueira, de Aracaju, sobre a manifestação de poder e graça de Deus a pessoas que não são reconhecidamente fiéis: ressalto que a palavra “reconhecidamente” está sendo usada por mim, pois nem sempre o que conseguimos ver em uma pessoa, através de seu exterior, não retrata exatamente o que se passa dentro de seu coração: a página acima é de Irae Requiem de Mozart.

Sim, às vezes achamos que alguém não é fiel a Deus, talvez por alguma de suas atitudes por nós presenciada, entretanto é bem possível que estejamos enganados, pois até o oposto pode ocorrer: e cito aqui um exemplo, exatamente o contrário, o apóstolo Paulo, que como cristão passou a ser exemplo de fidelidade, mas ele se apresentava como o “principal dos pecadores”.

O Pastor Jabes faz uma indagação: “Por que Deus manifesta seu poder e graça a infieis?” e procura encontrar uma resposta bíblica para o questionamento, aliás como é de seu feitio, sempre buscar quaisquer soluções no texto sacro.

E concordo plenamente com ele quando diz que a resposta bíblica mais direta e abrangente fala de sua soberania: “Jesus no Sermão do Monte já acentuava que Deus manda chuva e sol sobre maus e bons indistintamente (leia em Mt 5:45 e compare com Is 43:13), e Deus age como quer e onde quer e nada o impede ou condiciona, nem nosso estilo de vida ou atitudes”.

Mas esta resposta, embora bíblica e teologicamente correta não satisfaz por completo o Pastor Jabes, como ele mesmo deixa claro, e nem mim, que me considero um dos mais humildes servos do Senhor.

As considerações do Pastor Jabes prosseguem: “Por que há beleza entre espinhos? Por que o Senhor nos toca através daqueles que se nos apresentam como ímpios? A Bíblia me fala da Imago Dei. No poema da criação está declarado que Deus criou toda a humanidade soprando nela a sua imagem (confira em Gn 1:26-27). Há imagem divina em todo e qualquer ser humano indistintamente, mesmo que eu não a possa enxergar claramente”.

Tudo isso, amados irmãos, após ouvir atentamente o Requiem de Mozart (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, prestando bastante atenção na letra: o Pastor Jabes concluiu com muita propriedade que a peça é uma oração proferida por um moribundo e está repleta de confissão, súplica e adoração e começa com a expressão: Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine (em português: Repouso eterno dá-lhes, Senhor).

E conclui com algumas considerações que tomo a liberdade de reproduzir aqui, e que deva ser mensagem para qualquer pessoa, para qualquer de nós, pois mesmo sendo uma música composta há tantos anos para a hora de sua morte, Mozart pediu repouso para sua alma aflita e cansada.

Isso tocou profundamente no coração do Pastor Jabes, nos toca também e esperamos que fale ao íntimo de todos que estão nos ouvindo neste momento, relembrando o salmista: volta, minha alma, ao teu repouso, pois o Senhor te fez bem (Salmo 116:7), e fazendo destas palavras a nossa oração de todos os dias. Amém.

IN MOZART, INSPIRATION FOR OUR PRAYERS

I read recently (2011), a text of Pastor Jabes Nogueira, Aracaju, on the manifestation of power and grace of God to people who are not known to the faithful: I point out that the word “known” is being used by me, because not always what a person can see through your exterior, does not portray exactly what goes on inside his heart, the above page is Irae Mozart's Requiem.

Yes, sometimes we think someone is not faithful to God, perhaps by some of their attitudes that we witnessed, though it is quite possible that we are wrong, because even the opposite can happen, and I quote here an example, just the opposite, the apostle Paul, who became a Christian example of fidelity, but he presented himself as the “chief of sinners”.

Pastor Jabes makes one question: “Why God manifests his power and grace to infidels?” And search for a biblical answer to the question, as indeed is his nature, always look for solutions in any sacred text.

And I fully agree with him that the biblical answer more direct and comprehensive talks about sovereignty, “Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount has emphasized that God sends rain and sun on the evil and good alike (read in Matthew 5:45 and compare with Is 43:13), and acts as God wants, wherever and nothing prevents or conditions, or our lifestyle or attitudes”.

But this answer, though not biblical and theologically correct fully satisfied Pastor Jabes, as he makes clear, and not me, I think one of the most humble servants of the Lord.

The considerations of Pastor Jabes continue: “Why is there beauty among thorns? Why did the Lord touches us through those before us and the wicked? The Bible tells me of the Imago Dei. In the poem of creation is stated that God created all mankind blowing your image on it (check in Genesis 1:26-27). There is divine image in each and every human being without distinction, even though I can not see clearly”.

All this, beloved brethren, after carefully listening to Mozart's Requiem (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, paying close attention to the letter: Pastor Jabes aptly concluded that the piece is a prayer uttered by a dying man and is full of confession, prayer and worship and beginning with the words: Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine (in Portuguese: Rest eternal give them, Lord).

It concludes with some considerations that I take the liberty to reproduce here, and that should be message to any person for any of us that even though a song written for many years to the time of his death, Mozart called home to his afflicted soul and tired.

This has deeply touched the heart of Pastor Jabes, also touches us and we hope that the intimate contact of all who are listening now, recalling the Psalmist back, my soul, to your rest, because the Lord has been good (Psalm 116: 7), and making these words of our prayer every day. Amen.
