= JESUS: O CORDEIRO SACRIFICIAL =

No Antigo Testamento a prática para a restauração do relacionamento com Deus, quando rompido pelo pecado, era colocar um cordeiro sobre o altar e sacrificá-lo: sim, irmãos, a morte de um animal fazia com que a comunhão entre o Senhor e o homem pecador voltasse à normalidade.

Existem as mais diferentes definições para pecado, mas ainda no Antigo Testamento encontramos uma que não deixa a menor dúvida, qual seja, “pecado é tudo que possa nos separar do nosso Criador”, nas palavras do grande profeta Isaías.

Mesmo que se encontre no cordeiro do antigo ritual da religação homem/Deus, várias tipologias, a mais adequada é a que posiciona o cordeiro sacrificial como uma figura (um tipo) de Jesus Cristo: neste antigo ritual cada pecado cometido exigia o sacrifício de um animal, mas a morte do Senhor Jesus foi única e suficiente, já que o Cordeiro de Deus tira o pecado do mundo”, bastando tão-somente que seja aceito como aquele que nos concede a vida eterna, como se constata no texto de João 3:16.

Só através do sacrifício da cruz foi possível acabar de uma vez por todas com as contínuas mortes de cordeiro: estejamos atentos a esta realidade, vamos aceitá-la, mediante manifestação de fé, e passar a viver em comunhão diária com Cristo, estabelecendo um relacionamento que começa em nossa vida material e que persiste na eternidade.
