= SEJAMOS SENSÍVEIS... =

Se nós lermos o texto que está em João 15:17, sem aguçarmos nossa sensibilidade, corremos o risco de fazer uma interpretação errônea. Sim, irmãos, acabamos por concluir que aqui está uma fórmula mágica: fazer o pedido e o resultado positivo surgir de imediato. E esta tem sido a visão de muitas pessoas...

Mas sejamos sensíveis e entremos no âmago destas palavras: “se permanecemos em Cristo e suas palavras permanecerem em nós”, sem dúvida alguma uma condição bem clara para que a oração seja ouvida.

O texto é bem esclarecedor, conclusivo. Tudo que pedimos a Cristo nos é dado. Ocorre que quando fazemos de Cristo o Senhor de nossas vidas e fazemos de suas palavras o sustentáculo de nossas ações, de nossa vida, do nosso coração, o padrão dos nossos pedidos é completamente diferente. Não mais usamos as palavras de Jesus como fórmula mágica. Como bem afirma o Pastor Francisco Helder, “não mais botamos Deus contra a parede”, exigindo dele que nos atenda em tudo, mas passamos a irar como fez o próprio Senhor: “... seja feita a tua vontade assim na terra como no céu...”.

Que Deus nos capacite dia após dia aguçando nossa sensibilidade.

But be sensitive and enter into the heart of these words: “If we remain in Christ and his words abide in us”, without doubt a clear condition for the prayer is heard.

The text is enlightening conclusive. All we ask Christ has given us. It turns out that when we make Christ the Lord of our lives and make their words the mainstay of our actions, our lives, our hearts, the pattern of our applications is completely different. No longer use the words of Jesus as a magic formula. As well said Pastor Francisco Helder, “no more we put God against the wall”, requiring him to attend to our needs at all, but we come to anger as did the Lord himself: “... it is your will be done on earth as in sky...”.

May God enable us day after day sharpening our sensitivity.
