É incontável o número de obras publicadas sob os auspícios da JUERP – Junta de Educação Religiosa e Publicações da Convenção Batista Brasileira. Os assuntos abrangem todos os Livros da Bíblia Sagrada, dissecando todos eles de modo a mostrarem lições espirituais e, também, retratam através de especialistas renomados momentosos problemas sociais.

Adquirir, há algum tempo, o livro Manancial de Ilustrações, de Moisés Marinho de Oliveira, que dispensa maiores apresentações, já que se tornou profundamente conhecido do povo de Deus, como a publicação interior 7.000 Ilustrações e Pensamentos.

Manancial de Ilustrações é uma coletânea de narrativas destinadas a ilustrar mensagens bíblicas, de evangelização e doutrinárias, imprimido-lhes maior força e tornando a comunicação eficaz.

O próprio autor ressalta a importância das ilustrações ao mostrar o seu constante uso e o sinal verde que sempre receberam dos versados em Homilética, merecendo deles capítulos especiais em suas obras.

E qual a razão deste escrito? É que, tendo o conteúdo de Manancial de Ilustrações ultrapassado minhas expectativas, pois tenho utilizado com freqüência em meus sermões, não hesito em recomendá-lo aos que pregam a Palavra de Deus e ainda não o conhecem. Uma pregação com ilustrações bem adequadas ao tema prende a atenção dos ouvintes, o que não tem sido fácil na atualidade.
