= INSTRUMENTO DE EVANGELIZAÇÃO =

Estou seguro de que grande número de membros da nossa denominação não assina O JORNAL BATISTA. Como assinante que sou posso afirmar com a mais absoluta certeza que os não-assinantes estão perdendo uma excelente oportunidade de atualizar-se quanto aos assuntos pertinentes à denominação; de manter estreito relacionamento com membros de igrejas co-irmãs e, sobretudo, fortalecer-se na fé e aumentar cada vez mais a convicção de que nosso glorioso Deus não falha e que a garantia da salvação da alma emerge realmente, tal como se proclama, como o mais valioso bem que possuímos, isso através dos inspirados artigo, todos escritos por grandes homens de Deus, dos quatro cantos deste país. E tais artigos, prezados leitores, são, inegavelmente, instrumentos de evangelização. São ferramentas que podem ser utilizadas, com possibilidades de incontáveis resultados satisfatórios, na obra de proclamação do Evangelho de Cristo.

Motiva-me escrever estas linhas, a expectativa de que surjam novos assinantes, não apenas com vistas a dar sustentáculo financeiro ao “nosso” O JORNAL BATISTA, que cumpre fielmente o “Ide” determinado por Jesus Cristo, tais como outros periódicos, folhetos e programas de rádio e televisão, mas também e principalmente, para que leigos aperfeiçoem seus conhecimentos a respeito da Palavra de Deus e possam dar mais de si no socorro às almas aflitas, “sedentas espiritualmente”, pois são obrigadas a conviver com um mundo material de tanta fome, desilusões, injustiças sociais e desajustes de toda ordem, cumprindo-se a profecia de Amós, feita há tantos séculos.

Qual o custo anual de uma assinatura de O JORNAL BATISTA? É irrisório. Não tenho a menor dúvida em afirmar que é irrisório pois como fator de comparação, deixo para aqueles que nos honram com a leitura algumas perguntas. Quanto custa um ingresso de cinema e quanto seria gasto na compra de um ou dois por semana? Qual o valor do aluguel de uma fita de vídeo e quanto custaria a locação de duas em cada fim de semana? Quanto cobra uma manicure para as mãos apenas, uma vez por semana?

O meu apelo tem um significado maior do que muitos possam imaginar. Quando exorto os membros da denominação que não são assinantes de O JORNAL BATISTA, para que o façam, não estou voltando para as dificuldades de ordem material que qualquer periódico enfrenta para circular com regularidade, pois trabalhei na imprensa escrita e sei que cada nova assinatura é uma injeção positiva no caixa. Volto-me, sim para o aspecto da cultura bíblica, da comunhão com os irmãos, da eliminação de dúvidas, do instrumental tão propício à salvação de almas que não está sendo utilizado.

Que uma assinatura de O JORNAL BATISTA passe a ser incluída entre as prioridades daqueles que querem o fortalecimento da denominação, muito especialmente agora, quando movimentos que se autodenominam de evangélicos, vêm mutilando a Bíblia Sagrada e fazendo claudicar, infelizmente, muitos crentes até então fiéis, os quais, inclusive, devem ser motivo de orações.

I am sure that many members of our denomination does not sign the OFFICIAL BATISTA. As a subscriber I can say with absolute certainty that most non-subscribers are losing an excellent opportunity to update themselves on the issues relevant to the name, to maintain close relationships with members of churches co-sisters, and above all strengthen increase in faith and increasingly convinced that our glorious God does not fail and that the guarantee of salvation really emerge as proclaimed as the most valuable right we have, inspired by this article, all written by great men of God, the four corners of this country. And these articles, esteemed readers, is, undeniably, instruments of evangelization. Are tools that can be used, with endless possibilities for satisfactory results, the work of proclaiming the Gospel of Christ.

Motivates me to write these lines, the expectation that emerging new subscribers, not only in order to give financial supporter of “our” The OFFICIAL BATISTA, faithfully fulfilling the “Go” given by Jesus Christ, such as other periodicals, pamphlets and radio programs and television, but also and mainly, to lay refine their knowledge about the Word of God and can give more of themselves in rescue souls afflicted, “spiritually hungry”, they are forced to live in a world of material so hungry, disillusionment, social injustices and imbalances of all kinds, is fulfilling the prophecy of Amos, done for so many centuries.

What is the cost of an annual subscription to The Journal BATISTA? It is ridiculous. I have no doubt in saying that is ridiculous because as a factor of comparison, let us honor those with the reading questions. How much is a ticket for cinema and how it would be spent on purchase of one or two per week? What is the value of the rental of a videotape and the cost of leasing the two in each end of the week? As a snake manicure for the hands only once a week?

My appeal has a greater significance than many might imagine. When I urge members of the denomination who are not subscribers to The Official BATISTA, to do so, I am not going back to the difficulties in any material that regular face to move regularly, as worked in the press and know that each new signature is in a positive cash injection. I am rather to the aspect of biblical culture, the communion with the brethren, the removal of doubt, the instrumental so conducive to salvation of souls that is not being used.

That a signature of O Jornal Batista will be included among the priorities of those who want the strengthening of the name, especially now, when that movement of evangelical self, the Holy Bible are maiming and making hobble, unfortunately, many hitherto faithful believers which, indeed, should be cause for prayer.
