= O PODER TRANSFORMADOR DE JESUS CRISTO =

Nos quatro primeiros versículos do capítulo 4 do Evangelho escrito por Mateus, lemos que Jesus Cristo, depois de abster-se de alimentação por 40 dias, teve fome. O Diabo, que sempre se utiliza de artimanhas para tentar as pessoas, viu no apetite manifesto de Jesus Cristo uma oportunidade para investir contra ele: “Mande.que estas pedras se transformem pães”. O Diabo colocou diante do Filho de Deus um dos maiores desafios, considerando-se que o lugar onde se encontravam era deserto.

O Diabo sabia que Jesus Cristo tinha o poder de transformar aquelas pedras em pão. Não queria, o maligno, comprovar a capacidade de Jesus Cristo de operar milagres, queria, sim, que ele se submetesse aos seus caprichos. Mas o Filho de Deus não poderia fraquejar, como realmente não fraquejou. Teria que mostrar, como de fato mostrou, a sua superioridade e, mais que isso, sua sabedoria: “Nem só de pão vive o homem, mas de toda a palavra que sai da boca de Deus”.

Um incrédulo pode nos perguntar: Jesus Cristo tem realmente o poder de transformar pedras em pães? Transformar pedra em pão, frase muito usada nos dias de hoje, para simbolizar “modificação radical” ou mesmo coisa “impossível ou muito difícil de ser realizada”. Isto porque a pedra do deserto, castigada continuamente pelo sol, batida pelo vento, danificada pelas tempestades de areia, pisoteada pelos camelos e caravanas nômades, é a representação de algo sem importância. O pão, por sua vez, é o símbolo da alimentação de que necessitam os animais, os vegetais e os seres humanos, para a preservação da vida, bem de inestimável valor.

Claro que Jesus Cristo pode transformar pedras em pães. Ele mostra seu poder e sua autoridade desagradando o inimigo de nossas almas. A maior dessas transformações ocorre quando uma pessoa, totalmente mergulhada nas iniqüidades, considerando-se uma pedra perdida no sorrateiro e exterminador deserto do mundanismo, aceita Jesus Cristo como seu único e suficiente Salvador, e se transforma em alguma coisa muito preciosa, como o pão que é símbolo de vida. Jesus Cristo transforma pedra em pão quando propicia modificação radical, quando faz em real o impossível, quando dá oportunidade ao pecador de abandonar as trevas e entrar na luz.

Se o prezado leitor se sente como uma pedra, sem valor, sem expressão, permita que Jesus Cristo transforme sua vida em algo tão precioso como o pão.

= THE POWER TRANSFORMER OF JESUS CHRIST =

In the first four verses of Chapter 4 of the Gospel written by Matthew, we read that Jesus Christ, after failing to feed for 40 days, was hungry. The devil, who always used to try to trick people, saw the apparent appetite of Jesus Christ an opportunity to invest against him: “Mande.que these stones become bread”. The Devil brought forth the Son of God one of the greatest challenges, considering that the place where it was desert.

The devil knew that Jesus Christ had the power to turn these stones into bread. I wanted the evil, demonstrate the ability of Jesus Christ to work miracles, I would rather that he submit to their whims. But the Son of God could not fraquejar as not really fraquejou. Would show that, as in fact showed, their superiority and, more importantly, his wisdom: “Do not live by bread alone man, but any word that comes out of the mouth of God”.

A skeptic might ask ourselves: Jesus Christ is really the power to turn stones into bread? Turn stone into bread, phrase much used today, to symbolize “radical change” or something “impossible or very difficult to be done”. This is because the stone of the desert, the sun continually punished, beaten by wind, damaged by the storms of sand, camels and caravans trampling by nomads, is the representation of something unimportant. The bread, however, is the symbol of the power they need the animals, plants and humans, for the preservation of life, and of inestimable value.

Of course, Jesus Christ can transform stones into bread. He shows his power and his authority unhappy the enemy of our souls. Most of these changes occurs when a person totally immersed in inequities, considering a stone lost in the desert of sneaky and exterminator mundane, accepting Jesus Christ as his sole and sufficient Savior, and turns into something valuable, such as bread which is a symbol of life. Jesus Christ turns stone into bread provides when radical change, when in actual the impossible, when the sinner is able to leave the darkness and into the light.

If the dear reader feel like a stone, without value, without words, let Christ transform your life into something so precious as the bread.
