= PREGAÇÃO COERENTE =

A Igreja do Senhor tem, nos dias atuais - por demais difíceis, uma missão especial: proclamar as boas novas de salvação. E há uma grande preocupação, no sentido de que sejam alcançadas as multidões.

E para que tal missão especial produza os resultados esperados, programas variados são desenvolvidos e reuniões de adoração e louvor as mais sofisticadas se realizam, mobilizando os meios de comunicação de massa, com ênfase para a televisão, que associa de forma eficaz o som e a imagem.

Mas há que se reconhecer, nos dias trabalhosos que a Igreja do Senhor enfrenta, que o grande problema da missão proclamadora está na incoerência. Manifesta-se uma incompatibilidade a olhos vistos, entre aquilo que se prega e o que se vive, não raras vezes transformada em escândalos que angustiam a comunidade evangélica, projetando uma imagem negativa para o mundo incrédulo.

Lemos numa revista que “as palavras dizem, mas as atitudes gritam”, o que deve nos levar a refletir sobre o que temos anunciado e o que temos feito. A proclamação coerente da Palavra de Deus, prezados leitores, consiste não apenas em pregar com base bíblica, mas viver nos estatutos do Senhor.

Ante a tais considerações, podemos afirmar que a pregação coerente da Palavra de Deus se resume em três aspectos: todo e qualquer sermão deve estar centrado na Bíblia, cujos textos devem ser utilizados adequadamente. Nos dias atuais temos visto inúmeros modismos anunciados como o núcleo do Evangelho, mas não passam de distorções das Sagradas Escrituras. O testemunho da vida é fator fundamental, pois a sociedade está cheia de discursos requintados, mas sem qualquer exemplar prático que deve ser traduzido por exemplo vida cristã. Finalmente, a proclamação do Evangelho cercada de coerência deve apresentar frutos inconfundíveis.

Preguemos irmãos. Preguemos sempre, mas uma pregação coerente, para que seja abençoada por Deus.
